La Senza Canada is going to be having a huge savings event going on until tomorrow, January 31st that will be valid on both in-store and online purchases. The savings event will allow you to save up to 40% off, should you spend $100 or more, or if you spend between $75 and $100 you can take 30% off. Even if you spend $50, you’ll have the opportunity to take an extra 20% off of your purchase. You will, however, have to either show your coupon on your mobile device or print it out if you are shopping in-store. If you are shopping online, you will simply have to type in, SEXY3, at the checkout and the appropriate discount will be applied depending upon how much you have spent (before taxes).
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, you may want to use this discount to save a little on a new nightie or bra and panty combo. La Senza is only offering this discount for full-priced merchandise though, so you won’t be able to use sale items to meet your minimum spend requirement. Seeing as they have their entire Valentine’s Day collection being sold at full price, however, you’ll be able to save probably just as much as if you shopped the sale stock.
For instance, you could pick up a new push up bra, like the Show Off Strappy Plunge Bra ($34.50), and then combine it with a pair of fishnet stay-up thigh-high tights (only $19.50) and pay just $43.20; as you will receive a 20% discount when you spend over $50, and the regular price of this order would be $54.
Shipping and handling with La Senza tacks on an extra $9 to your cart total, so if possible, I’d advise that you shop in-store for these deals since all the money you’d be saving is essentially going towards shipping and handling.
And don’t forget, La Senza Canada is still having the last days of their semi-annual clearance sale, where they have lots of great specials to combine to save you buckets of cash. Bras are on sale for $12.99 and under, plus when you buy 2 pairs of sexy underwear, you can get a third pair for free. If you’re able to find the correct sizes and styles, you could even try to combine lingerie products from both the sale and the newer stock so that you can cash in on both the 20%-40% discount and the semi-annual clearance deal specials.
It is sometimes difficult to build up your coupon stash again in the new year, but there are some new tear pad coupons that have hit stores recently that you may want to be aware of and keep an eye out for. New SmartSource tear pad coupons usually surface monthly, and they are probably most readily available at Loblaws umbrella stores. If you are in Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore, Zehrs, or Fortinos, etc…have a look at their coupon zone board at the entrance, and watch carefully while walking down the aisles.
On my trip to Fortino’s today I was able to find the following new coupons:
Save $1 on any Gay Lea Real Whipped Cream (expires August 31st, 2015)
Save 50 cents on Oikos Greek Yogurt 4x100g (expires May 31st, 2015)
Save $1 On Clover Leaf Flavoured White Tuna 142g (expires August 31, 2015)
Save $1 On Soft Soap Antibacterial Hand Soap 225ml or 1.65L (expires March 31st, 2015)
Save $4 When You Purchase 3 Participating Products Including Smucker’s, Oasis, Folgers, and More (expires July 31st, 2015)
There appear to be at least two versions of this last coupon listed. The version I picked up specifies that you will save $4 when you purchase one Oasis 1.75L refrigerated product, and two other participating products. The participating products are as follows: Smucker’s Jam 310ml or more, Folgers Ground Coffee, Folgers Gourmet Selections K Cup Packs, Adams Peanut Butter, Robin Hood Oats, or Wonder Bread. The other version of this coupon that has been spotted, is for $4 off when you purchase Smucker’s Jam and two other participating products, including Oasis Juice and the other products I just listed.
If you want to stay on top of new coupons as they are found, you can check out our Coupon Scan Thread. Our members post new coupon as they find them, so you know what is out there and can see what they look like. This makes them easier to spot when you come across them in the store! It’s shaping up to be a good deal for football lovers this Sunday, February 1st. With all the promo code offers and bundle deals going around, whether the team your cheering for wins or loses the Super Bowl, at least you’ll be happy knowing you saved a dollar while feasting. The most recent deal that we’ve received word about is at Boston Pizza Canada, where they will be offering you one free pizza when you buy a first pizza that is of equal or greater value than your free one.
This offer from Boston Pizza is only valid on online orders, as you must enter the promo code, TOUCHDOWN, to receive your second pizza for free.
This deal from Boston Pizza will apply to both medium sized pizzas and large, but if you’re getting the second one for free, I’d suggest upgrading to the large since you’ll be getting more bang for your buck; and if you can’t finish it the night of the big game (which is the day that the deal will be valid on) you can always have it for breakfast the next morning to either celebrate or soothe yourself for your team’s win/loss.
Right now during Roots Canada’s winter sale, you can take an extra 20% off your purchase when you shop within the already reduced merchandise. This discount won’t be applied to your cart total until you have added it to the cart, so be wary since the price shown on the website is not the full discount you will be receiving!
While this leather Classic Tablet sleeve coventry was already marked down to $39.99 from $58, I was able to pick it up for just $31.99 after the extra 20% came off.
And whoever said you can have too many scarves and mittens, well, they obviously weren’t living north of the U.S. border because let me tell you, you can never have enough warm, winter bundling accessories! Roots is normally a solid place to stock up on these winter essentials, but can be tad out of my price range when they’re sold at full price (*sigh). With their sale plus the extra 20% off offer, however, I was able to grab this chunky Brigette cable knit snood for just $23.99 (regularly $48).
Even the little kids will be able to find something cute to add to their winter apparel. I was able to find this kids Owen hockey jersey (also comes in white, but I prefer that patriotism evoked in the red and white) for just $16.70. Since it had already been marked down to $20.88, the total savings from the original price would almost make it a discount of 50% off (regularly $30).
Roots Canada will also offer free-shipping on orders that exceed $50.
Signing up for the P&G Everyday Program Canada is a free service that, once you are a member, they will specifically cater coupons and samples from all of their products; which, if you aren’t already aware of just how many brands P&G includes, I have compiled a short list of just some of the hot coupons you could begin receiving exclusive offers from:
Pampers
Tide
Bounty
Swiffer
Crest
Gillette
Vicks
Duracell
Mr. Clean
Olay
Oral-B
Covergirl
and much, much more!
All you need to do is follow this link to P&G Everyday Canada, where they will ask you to fill out some information about yourself (name, postal code, e-mail address) and then they will begin sending you coupons, samples, plus everyday life tips that will vary from recipes to cleaning tips. I personally use a separate account for retailers to reach me, which I’d advise those of you who do choose to give out your e-mail address to start doing as it allows you to keep your shopping and personal life separate.
You can opt out at anytime from P&G Everyday, and we will also be keeping an eye out for those special coupons, which sometimes will show up here at SmartSource.ca.
The new Safeway Canada deal of the week is now available for all of you Safeway Shoppers to enjoy. Each Friday a new fantastic coupon is released through the Safeway Canada Facebook page, for customers to use until the following Thursday.
This week, from January the 30th, until February the 5th, 2015, the coupon is for Mann’s Sugar Snap Peas. Pay only $4.99 for the 425 gram bag with this coupon. I love Mann’s bagged vegetable products as they are so convenient for salads, stir fry, or just for snacking. The sugar snap peas are probably my absolute favorite Mann’s product though.
If you will be using the coupon this week keep ion mind that you are limited to one coupon per transaction. You will have to make multiple transactions in order to apply the coupon to more than one bag of Mann’s Sugar Snap Peas. Also, you are not required to print the coupon. You can save yourself some ink, and just show it on your phone in the store.
Swiss Chalet Canada is also serving up some delicious deals for the big kickoff this Sunday, though this offer will feed a fairly large crowd – so be sure you have the mouths around to eat it!

Your choice of sides will range from french fries, to side salads, to mashed potatoes to seasoned rice, but if you do order poutine or sweet potato fries they will charge you an extra fee. Swiss Chalet has a variety of appetizers too to choose from, all of which will be priced at the same point, these include:

Cheese perogies

Sears Outlet Canada is getting in a healthier frame of mind, especially within their clearance sale section on kitchen appliances and cooking products. By briefly skimming through their product selection, I was able to find deals on popular name brands (like T-Fal, KitchenAid, and much more) with discounts being up to 75% off the regular price! For instance, this T-Fal Nutricook Pressure Cooker – an excellent alternative to stove top cooking, which often times requires extra oil – in now just $125.94 (regularly $299).
For those of you who are big on the juice cleanses and morning smoothie routines, then you should check out this offer from Sears Outlet’s clearance sale where they have a Bodum Bistro Blender (1.5L) in white being sold for just $63.94; this is a 60% reduction from the retail price of $159.99.
Sears Canada will offer free-shipping on orders that exceed $99, so if you purchase the Cuisinart Cookware set, the T-Fal Nutricook Pressure Cooker, or a combination of any of these items, you will receive free-shipping.
While these deals may not be as enticing as ice-cream or the new Samsung Tab 4, the everyday essentials that get us from Monday through till Sunday are still purchases that need to be made each week – and are also the ones that we least enjoy spending money on. Canadian Tire sympathizes with us shoppers, and for this week they are having a Red Alert Deal on all of your everyday needs, all the way from laundry detergent to batteries, they’ve got you covered.
You can see a full listing of all the ongoing deals at Canadian Tire in this week’s flyer, which will be running these deals until February 3rd. Some of the better finds that you can pick up in this Red Alert sale on everyday essentials include:
12-pack Coke, Pepsi and other varieties, now $3.49 (reg. $5.99)
save up to 75% on Lagostina Ticino non-stick skillets, now $9.99-$19.99 (reg. $41.99-$69.99)
Optima Paper Towel, 8-pack, now only $4.88
save 60% on Lagostina 4-pc. Bakeware set, now $32.99 (was $89.99)
Royal or Royale Velour Bathroom Tissue 12-double rolls, now $4.99
Duracell Alkaline Batteries 24 AA or 16 AAA, now $14.49-$18.49
63L Clear Accent Storage Tote now only $5.99
Mastercraft 100-pc. Screwdriver Set, now only $29.99 (was $129.99)
Like many SmartCanucks forum members, the Target Clearance Finds thread has been one of my go-to threads. I check it all of the time. A trip to Target without it is just unheard of, I mean all those unstickered items that are secretly on sale are just waiting to be bought. I will miss those little red stickers, I have picked up so many 70% off deals at prices I doubt I will ever see again.
As sad as some of us are about the closing of Target, the threads has become even more popular as people seek out information and bargains and this hasn’t gone unnoticed as CTV linked to the thread today!
For those hoping for liquidation sales starting this week, they are still awaiting a court appointed liquidator so it is just unadvertised clearance for now. They saying early February then a liquidation process of 16-20 weeks, although SCers who work at stores have mentioned that some stores expect to close much sooner.
Marble Slab Creamery Canada – simply the first syllable of this franchise sets your taste buds aglow with memories of endless gummy bear mix-ins and delicious hand-crafted ice-cream scooped sumptuously onto a fresh, warm waffle cone. Hungry yet? I know I am, especially after reading this months promotions which have included in them over $50 in savings! Even if you don’t use all of them, there are certainly some great buy-one-get-ones and freebies that would be worthwhile to use (especially seeing as this months is candy month…er, I mean Valentine’s Day).
Some of these coupons aren’t really worth using, like the $5 banana split coupon which is more or less offered every Friday – where they have a promotion that sells it for $6. Ones that I believe are worth getting excited about, however, was the $5 free gift card you receive when you purchase any large ice cream cake.
Another great coupon from Marble Slab Creamery is their 4 cones for $14 offer, which will include two small cones, two regular size cones, plus unlimited mix-ins. This coupon would be idea for a family of four who wants to treat their two little ones, but know that they can’t necessarily handle the full regular size cone (like us adults can!)
All of the coupons from Marble Slab Creamery expire on February 28th, 2015 and cannot be used in combination with any other coupon or ongoing promotion in-store.
It’s time to jump into spring – well not quite yet, but at the very least it’d be nice to think we could. The one-day sale at the Hudson’s Bay Canada seems to think that it’s about time to get geared up for spring, seen notably through their current sale on Adidas runners and Sperry Top-Sider Boat shoes.
These shoes have both been marked off by $41, as they are currently on sale for just $69 though they were originally being sold for $110. The Sperry Top-Sider boat shoes come only in this deep navy, but it has a subtle metallic sheen that adds just the right amount of embellishment that will make your dock shoes pop and be a little more trendy.
The Adidas Adipure 360.2 widefoot shoes are designed for those with training in mind. With the streamlined shape, plus a mesh upper top to allow for breathability, these shoes are engineered to support your training from winter through till spring. They come in either black or blue, but both are priced at the same sale point of $69 (was $110).
VIA Rail Canada is having a last minute sale for those of you who are still trying to plan some romantic getaway for your significant others, and still be able to save a little (remember the big day is now two weeks away tomorrow!) This deal that they are offering will give you, on select one-way fares, up to a 55% discount from the regular economy fare; or if you’re travelling business class within the Windsor – Quebec City corridor and equal savings.
There are of course restrictions as to when you must travel and where you are travelling to, as is normally the case with trains, planes and automobiles deals. For the 55% off discount on economy fare tickets, you must book your travel at least 3 days before you intend to leave and it has to be between February 2nd-28th. The economy fare tickets can be across Canada and must be booked between January 30th and February 9th.
Essentially the same rules apply for the VIA Rail business class tickets, except that it is only valid within the Windsor-Quebce city corridor and dates of travel must be on a Friday, Saturday, or a Sunday.
I was able to find a one-way fare from Ottawa to Montreal on Valentine’s Day weekend for just $37.63 – and if I wasn’t too picky about the return ticket (e.g. coming home on a Tuesday versus a Monday) I could swing the same price!
Amazon.cais currently selling the Toastess Party Grill and Raclette, 6 person in chrome right now for just $27.96, though it was previously marked up to $49.99. The raclette is designed to be a social eating experience, similar to the ones you may have encountered at a tapas bar or a fondue party, but instead of dipping fruit and veggies in a pot of melted cheese you instead grill your chosen sides underneath the raclette and (as is traditionally done in some regions) you melt cheese on top.
The sides that you choose to grill can vary, but the most common kinds that you would see used for this type of dining experience would include:
raclette cheese (or whichever variety you prefer)
beef strips
scallops
sausage
veggies (zucchini, mushrooms, peppers, etc.)
bread
and anything else you desire
The raclette would be an ideal dinner party for hot summer nights when turning the oven on is just far beyond what you’d like to do, or even on cool winter nights you could use it as an additional source of heat. This particular model, the Toastess Party Grill, comes highly reviewed on Amazon.ca, with the only complaints being that it takes a bit longer to heat up than the previous versions that customers have used – but that can all be avoided by planning ahead!
There are two new coupons available for Pet Valu shoppers. These coupons are printable and expire on Sunday 1st February so shop this weekend and save!
Buy three 12.5oz cans of Wellness canned dog food and get one free
Save $5 when you buy Hills Science Diet dry cat food 3.18kg (these are the medium sized bags that are regularly $30-35)
Acceptance of these coupons on mobile devices depends a lot on the store. One of the ones near me just requires the coupon code number, they don’t even look at my phone, another wants them printed for their records, while the third has a stack if you need one.
