Another 20x the points event will be happening at SDM on the weekend of Oct. 23-24, 2010. I love that they’re doing this event so much more often now, it makes collecting points to reach bonus redemption levels and Plus status so much easier. The last one that was just this past Saturday was fantastic and I can’t wait to see the flyer to make my shopping list for this one! Hint: If you have any high-value coupons (such as the P&G $9 and $5 ones), make sure to use them up as they expire on the 31st (the ones from the flyer).

This year I’m in charge of bringing dessert to my parents’ house for Thanksgiving. I know that two of the most beloved Thanksgiving desserts are pumpkin pie and apple pie. Here is where the problem lies: I love pie but these are the only two pies that I dislike. What am I gonna do? Bring a dessert that I won’t eat? Another problem: I don’t know how to make pie! Well enough about my personal problems. What I really want to know is, which pie do you prefer? Pumpkin or Apple? Maybe both?
