Tara F. posted on SmartCanucks forum telling us about her terrible experience with Pizza Hut. Having had an almost identical experience I’m posting this on here in hopes that Pizza Hut Canada will actually work on improving their pizza and customer service. Here’s what Tara F. had to say:

Okay I ordered 1 Lrg Stuffed Crust Meat Lovers Pizza and 1 Lrg Stuffed Crust Hawaiian Pizza from Pizza Hut tonight and it was DISGUSTING. The crust on both was VERY thin and soggy, so much in fact that the toppings slid right off and you could “wave” the crust. The total of my bill came to just shy of $50 for 2 pizzas and now I won’t eat them because they are NASTY. I called to complain and they will NOT refund my money because as they say, “they don’t do that with food” but they said they would give me a credit that I would have to use up within 3 months. They told me that this is now how their pizzas are made and that next time just make sure not to order it.

Well I had to take a video of the crap they delivered because it really was that nasty. Check it out below and tell me, have you ever received pizza from Pizza Hut like this?

In the Shoppers Drug Mart (ON) July 3-9, 2010 flyer, Danactive probiotic yogurt (8 x 93 mL) is advertised for $3.99. If you still have the $2 off Danactive coupon from save.ca, you can get it for only $1.99! My family loves this yogurt and I plan to stock up. Hopefully they have a long expiry date. These are regularly priced at $5.99 so paying only $1.99 each is definitely a deal! The strawberry-banana flavour pictured above is yummy!

In the Metro (ON) July 2 – 8, 2010 flyer, Janes Pub Style Breaded Chicken Strips, Nuggets, or Burgers (870-880 g) is advertised for $5.99. Use your $2 off any Janes product coupon and get it for only $3.99. I don’t know where these coupons came from, as I got mine from trading. Some people have also gotten coupons mailed to them directly by contacting the company. This is the only chicken nuggets/strips product that my family will eat and they regularly sell for about $11 – $13 so paying only $3.99 is a steal. I sure wish I had more of these coupons!

A few month’s back I did a trade for some $0.75 Black Diamond cheese coupons hoping for a sale so I could use them. This coming week at Atlantic Superstore is just that sale. They have 500g cheese bars on sale for just $4.44 so with the $0.75 coupons I will pay just $3.69. Time to stock up for the summer and maybe longer depending on the dates. You can never have too much underwear. Especially cute ones from La Senza, where you can get 12 panties for $30 during this sale. The selected panties on sale regularly go for $7.50 – $12.50 so paying $2.50 per pair is definitely a steal. I’m not sure if this is in stores but definitely online. If anyone goes into a store and finds this sale on, please post here.

In the Giant Tiger (July 1 – 7, 2010) flyer, Airwick Freshmatic Kit is advertised for $7.47. Use your $5 off Airwick Freshmatic or Airwick Freshmatic Compact Kit coupon found in the last issue of Smartsource and get it for only $2.47. I believe there was also a $7 off coupon that came from Shoppers Voice so if you’re lucky enough to have that, even better to get it for only $0.47. Great deal as this would regularly cost between $13 – $15. I wish I had more than 1 of this coupon. This would go great in a gift basket.
