This coming week Shoppers Drug Mart has Clorox Bleach 709ml on sale for just $1. There is a coupon for $2 off when you buy two that was found in the April issue of Today’s Parent. I was luck enough to get two coupons as extras in coupon trades a few months back. I used them a few weeks back when SDM had them on for $0.88. I sure wish I had more so I could stock up. The flyer runs from June 12-18.

If you miss the free $20 Esso card when you spend $75 or more this weekend, you can do your shopping during the week and get a free $10 SDM card with purchases of $50 or more. If you think you’ll spend $100 or more, split the purchase into two $50 transactions to get two $10 coupons.

Today is the day to get your (first of three) HST transition cheque. If you filed your 2009 income tax and have direct deposit, you should of received it in your bank account today, otherwise there is a mailed cheque coming your way. The amount you get varies depending on your marital status, single people get $100 and couples/families get $330. There are three payments throughout the year.

It’s the government’s way of returning a small part of the taxes that we already pay to make us less angry about the extra HST that we are going to be paying on everything, like gasoline. So ya it’s nice to get some “extra” money but in the long run, we are going to be paying a lot more for everything.
