Sears Canada just sent out their Our Buyers Best catalog and inside the bag is a Campbell booklet which includes a coupon for $1 off when you buy any two of these condensed soups (cream of broccoli, cream of celery, cream of chicken or cheddar cheese) This is a great coupon because this soup goes on sale for $0.50 quite often so you can get 2 for free. Who would every think to look there?  I sure didn’t because I gave the catalog  to my mother in law without even opening the bag. I just called her and she is going to dig it out of the recycling bag for me. Now all I need is a sale.

Lord of the Rings Trilogy on Blu-Ray is going to be released in early April, and the current pre-order price is $49.99 at Amazon. At Future Shop, it’s going for $69.99. Considering the old DVD version was selling for $39.99 recently, $49.99 is not bad for the new high definition release. It will ship on April 6, 2010.

There’s a slew of other new Blu-Ray releases coming up too, list available here.

One such release is Battlestar Galactica, the Complete Series, for $149.99 ($219.99 at Future Shop and Best Buy) on Blu-Ray.

Also, Bourne Identity, Bourne Ultimatum and Bourne Supremacy all for $19.99, in a useful format – both DVD and Blu-Ray versions on the same disc. So if you don’t have a Blu-Ray player yet, you can watch the DVD format, but then you’ll have the high-def version when you do have a Blu-Ray player. I wish more videos came out like this…

In the March 12 – 18, 2010 flyer of Real Canadian Superstore, Purex laundry detergent (64 loads, 2.95 L; not the small bottle which is only 1.47 L) is on sale for $3. If you have the $2 coupon (from the Clip N Save flyer which came with the April 2010 home subscription issues of Homemakers magazine and Canadian Living magazine), you can get it for $1! There is also a $0.50 coupon from Toonies for Tummies which can be used as well. Even at $2.50 this is a good price because it’s the larger bottle. This is one of the better laundry detergent prices I’ve seen in awhile, besides the famous Sunlight Green Clean MIR promo.
