Ugh, the dreaded summer cold is in full swing right now. I have talked to many people across the country dealing with this pesky bug.
I too am afflicted by possibly the worst cold I have had in years. It is such a bad bug that has knocked the crap out of me that I am close to classifying it as the flu.
Anyone else dealing with this dreadful bug that wants to join my pity party? Any home remedies? Mr. Neo Cirtran has even let me down.
*Heh this isn’t a deal but it is potentially a freebie. If you want my cold bug for free simply pm me for my address and I will give the bug to you for free! No money down!*

This is good reason to plan your diet “cheat” day for August 25th!
Join us for Cruisin’ for a Cause Day on August 25th to support an important cause. For every Teen Burger® sold at all A&W Restaurants across Canada, $1 will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada to help fund research and provide life-changing services for people touched by MS. You can also donate $1 to receive a cut-out for our donation wall.
But visiting A&W on August 25th isn’t the only way to help. Every time you tweet #CruisinForACause or RSVP to the Facebook event, A&W will donate 50¢ to the MS Society of Canada. Plus, text “MS” to 45678 and you’ll donate $5.
Multiple sclerosis is a complex disease. While it is most often diagnosed in young adults, aged 15 to 40, we know that it affects children, some as young as two years old. The impact is felt by family, friends and by the community. MS is unpredictable, affecting vision, hearing, memory, balance and mobility. Its effects are physical, emotional, financial, and last a lifetime. There currently is no cure.
Last year, we all did a great job by raising over $700,000. This summer, let’s see if we can do even better. So roll on in with the whole family. Because helping a great cause is just in good taste.

Today’s deal of this week’s worth of one day deals is the Back to the Future Trilogy for $22.49 on DVD or $33.49 on Blu-Ray. The sets include many bonus features as well. Also on sale is Dexter: Season 5 for $29.99 (Blu-Ray for $39.99). Star Wars, the complete saga, will be released on Blu-Ray in September and has a pre-order price of $99 for the six films.
From the other post: “I absolutely loved these movies as a kid. I just started watching them with my 7 year old daughter and it feels good to be able to share something I enjoyed from my childhood with her. This is an excellent price for the set especially since it is the Blu-Ray edition. A Blast From The Past that is well worth it in my opinion.”
We havent been to a Baskin Robbins in quite sometime as there isn’t one in our town but friends of ours go a few times a month. Thursday: Mini parfait for 1.99
Friday: Brownie or raspberry a la mode cake for 9.99

I can’t seem to find an end date for the deal so I am assuming it is ongoing for the time being.
