I can across this thread in the deals section and thought it was something that a lot of people would be interested in. As of January 31, 2010 HBC will no longer be offering merchandise as a reward to redeem your points for. They will continue to offer Gift Cards and Apple products for trade in. The rewards book that was issued in May 2009 will expire on January 31 and products will only be available while quantities last.
I just got my e-news letter from Lush Canada and they are clearing out all their holiday products. Wrapped gift sets are on a Buy One Get One Free sale and single holiday products are on a Buy One Get TWO Free sale. Quantities are very limited and a lot of the gift sets have been selling out really fast so if there’s something that you are interested in scoop it up fast.
American Eagle online has their clearance clothing for up to 60% off and for today only all orders are being shipped for free (and yes this includes Canadian addresses). There are some really good deals out there if you need some new clothes or want to get a head start on birthdays or, dare I say, even next Christmas.

Beginning today, Disney Parks is officially launching “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day” — perform a day of volunteer service at a participating organization or work on a certain volunteer project in 2010 and you’ll receive a free, one-day admission ticket to a Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort theme park.
2. Visit www.DisneyParks.com or www.DisneyParks.ca, search for a volunteer activity and sign up. You’ll notice, many of the available activities offer opportunities for families to volunteer together.
3. Next, you complete the volunteer activity selected.

Finally, when the completed day of volunteer service has been verified, you’ll print out a voucher online (instructions will be included in a follow-up e-mail from Disney Parks) before redeeming it at a Disney Park — in California at Disneyland Resort or in Florida at Walt Disney World Resort – for a one-day, one-park ticket. If a guest determines that they won’t be able to visit a Disney park (vouchers must be redeemed and tickets used by Dec. 15, 2010), they can donate the ticket to a charity designated by Disney: Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern California; Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida; Dreams Take Flight Canada.
The coupons mentioned here were/are available in-stores, coupon flyers like Smartsource, Shop’n save, Save.ca website, Gocoupons.ca website, printable coupons, coupons printed on cereal box or other items,etc. It takes some time to collect these coupons. Best and easy place to find the coupons would be in-store or save.ca. When you see a coupon in-store, pick it up and when that product goes on sale, you can use the coupon and save more.

Well everyone, the New Year is upon us, in less then 10 hours (Ontario time) we will be in 2010. A time for new resolutions and a fresh start of a New Year.

I personally don’t generally make resolutions. Last year I quit smoking the 3rd week of January, not a New Years resolution, just something I needed to do. Maybe this year I’ll work at losing the weight I gained from quitting lol!

One of our beloved members “Beastmaster” passed on in December, losing the battle to Cancer. His sister is Koala from the site whom many of you know on a first name basis.
Beastmaster (Gary) was a loved member of our forum and absolutely loved Ferrets.
