Shutterfly is a really great site to make photo books and gifts and even just regular prints.  They are having a Labour Day sale from now until September 8 where you can save up to 50% on some of their photo products.   These are great Christmas gifts and saving money while making someone smile is always A+ on my list!  The sale also states that there is free shipping for orders over $25 but this is only for shipping in the US.  If you have a US shipping address you can use there’s even more savings for you.

Click here to check out all the sale items on Shutterfly.

Katrina emailed me and suggested we once again have a Coach Canada trading post so here it is 😀

Coach Canada is having a 25% off sale from Sept 11 – 20, 2009 at all Coach boutiques in Canada to celebrate Mothers Day. However to get the discount you need an invitation card which was only sent to select customers who had previously spent over a certain amount at Coach stores.

I thought I’d start this post to allow you guys to exchange invitations. Say you have a Coach invitation that you don’t need, you can offer to give it away in exchange for say a $10 or $15 Shoppers Drug Mart gift card or whatever value you choose. If you’re looking for an invitation you can find an offer you like and accept it. Use the comments system to communicate.

Today is the day to buy that special something you’ve been thinking about getting at The Body Shop! TODAY ONLY you can save 20% off your entire purchase in store or online if you are a VIP loyalty member.

If you aren’t one yet, it’s only $10 to sign up and you get perks like 10% off all purchases as well as a $10 gift credit in your birthday month, a $15 credit after four $25+ purchases, and a $25 credit and free membership renewal after eight $25+ purchases.

Why not check out their new lineup for fall here and see if you can’t find yourself a great deal!

This is a new P&G and Zellers promotion starting on September 11.  Spend $25 on P&G products and get a $10 Zellers gift card by mail.  This should be even better because the new brandsaver coupons will be out the weekend on September 9th so you’ll be able to get even more for your money.  Spending $25 should be really easy too seeing as there is such a wide assortment of products that are eligable.  You will need to download the form to send in with your reciept to get the gift card.  The form will be available to download online starting September 11.  I am so taking advantage of this one!

Click here to see the participating products and to download your form once it is up.

Thanks to redfox for this great heads up!

Are you a stickler for safety?? If your answer is no then you’re probably not a parent. There is a funny thing that happens to a person the moment they have a baby to care for -the world becomes a very dangerous place, beautiful, but dangerous. All of the sudden there are hidden hazards everywhere, I mean did you ever sit around your college dorm wondering how safe your blinds were? I’m guessing no. Well, maybe now you’re all grown up and in charge of the safety of a perfect little life and maybe you’re wondering if there is more you can do. Children’s Safety Association of Canada is dedicated to helping you answer that question. As a start they want to send you a free safety pack. Included is a “32 page Child Safety Reference Manual, “HOT” Stickers – to help prevent scalding accidents, Child Print/Identification Kit(s) – to identify each child and Window Blind Safety Kit(s)”

Click here to join the association and recieve your free kit.

Attention ladies! 😉

Lancome has a great nwe Gift with Purchase when you spend $50 or more in their online store. Use code BACK2SCHOOL.

Not sure what to buy? As someone who worked for Lancome for many years I would recommend trying a mascara such as the highly popular DÉFINICILS or my favorite the HYPNÔSE.

In the market for a fragrance? My favorite is the Ô OUI! Love it!

Happy Shopping!

Have you been on a long car ride where the kids repeatedly say are we there yet?  are we there yet?  Well now you can keep them occupied with these free printable Car Activites.  It is super easy to plan ahead with these activities.  You can print them out ahead of time and put them in the car so they are ready for whenever you need them.  The next time you are stuck in traffic or making a cross-Canada car trip to visit Aunt Sally you can take one of the games out to amuse your children for a few hours.

The games include Car Bingo which feature looking for things such as stop signs, horses, barns and flowers.    These can keep the kids distracted for hours while they search for the items they need to complete their Bingo before everyone else in the car does!

You can also try Travel Scavenger Hunt which has 3 different games for the city, the suburbs and rural scavenger hunts.  These can have your children looking for items such as signs in foreign languages, churchs or oil pumps.  Who knows where the next item will turn up?!

The nex time you pack the family into the Family Roadster out on a long vacation remember to plan ahead with these fun games.   There is no need to buy expensive portable video games or install DVD players into the car.  Bring fun back to the car with these free printable games.
