Thanks Pocahontas for emailing me about this promo and thanks for your nice words 🙂
Here’s what Pocahontas said regarding the current promo at the Bay:
I just got a coupon from the Clinique counter at the Bay for 25,000 HBC Points Bonus with $75 purchase at the Bay. I think it expires Sept. 30th.
Of course, the Clinique bonus is on at the Bay right now with a $26.50 purchase, until about Sept. 28th or 29th.
Hope this helps someone!

If you’re a student or teacher you can buy $25 tickets for the Cirque Du Soleil performance in Toronto.
Came across this at the Digital Home:
Homes will be alive with the sound of music and off-key voices this weekend thanks to todays launch of Karaoke On Demand from Rogers cable.
The new Video on demand (VOD) service will be free to all of the companies digital cable customers in Ontario, New Brunswick and Newfoundland on channel 100.
Video on Demand (VOD) is a generic term used to define a pay-per-view television service offered by cable companies in which a viewer can order a television program from a menu and have it delivered instantly to the television set, typically with the ability to pause, stop, rewind and fast forward programming.
With Karaoke On Demand, customers can choose from up to 600 songs (see launch list of songs below) from the VOD menu ranging from recent pop singles to classic rock and oldies. Using a remote control, customers select the song they want and start the song anytime they want. Sadly for those who have to listen, subscribers can play them back as often as they want!
The service is free on Rogers channel 100 and the company says consumers can look forward to new songs each month

So you’re not a student but you still want to make use of the loads of shopping benefits the Student Price Card (SPC) offers? Here’s the solution:
Subscribe to 11 issues of Lou Lou magazine for for $19.95 here and you’ll get an SPC VIP card. On this VIP card it says “Student ID Not Required VIPâ€.
Even for $19.95 (instead of $10 for the regular SPC) I still think this card is worth it. You’ll also get Lou Lou magazine which in my honest opinion is one of the more interesting and useful magazines out there. I think it’s much better than Roger Publishing’s other fashion magazine, Flare.

Thanks kholmes for posting this on the forum 🙂

Also don’t forget to use the $10 off any purchase of $50 or more coupon
Randy Pausch set the tone early on yesterday at his farewell lecture at Carnegie Mellon University titled Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams. “If I don’t seem as depressed or morose as I should be, sorry to disappoint you,” said Dr. Pausch, a 46-year-old computer science professor who has incurable pancreatic cancer. He is expected to live for a few more weeks or months. More details
Prof Randy Pausch’s speech brought a tear to my eye: it’s very moving and inspiring and I strongly recommend you watch it.
