they are for thin people!
Do not drive a car or operate heavy machinery while wearing these.
laughing out loud right now! love it love it love it
too funny!!
Ya, too funny!!
Too funny.
Too good
Thank you American apparel, I have been saying this for years.
Finally!
Scary how people think these are pants… they can be indecent!
About time someone took a stand on this!!! It is tiresome looking at butt cheeks every where I go, and that’s just from behind don’t even get me started when they are coming towards you!
Thank God Thank God Thank God! So sick of seeing butt cheeks everywhere. Seriously where does one’s common sense disappear to when following a fashion this blindly?!!
This girl i worked with, her jeans went up her crack!
Thank God because my eyes bleed when it’s Camel toe galore, haha! So unflattering!
🙂
What does this have to do with deals or freebies? Personally, I wear lots of leggings. I went through a difficult time a number of years ago, and put on weight to coped, and my leggings were all that fit. Afterwards, I suffered an injury, and cannot work right now, so I cannot afford new clothes. I always wear long tops and sweaters with them, so as not to be make anyone uncomfortable. But it is disheartening to come to a website to see how I can save money, just to be insulted and judged.
Amen!
I second the Amen. Same with yoga pants; they are for yoga.
hahaha we’re not saying “don’t wear these” but wear them appropriately!!! With a top long enough to COVER your WHOLE bum. thank you.
Mamana, I totally feel you! It’s never good to judge people. I went through the same thing as you, which I bet loads of people have.
I believe that if you wear something to hide your derriere, then it looks a lot more classy. But regardless, people should feel comfortable wearing what they want, even if others believe it’s a fashion faux-pas. Because in reality, where do you draw the line?
Considering what American Apparel considers appropriate clothing I’m surprised to see this coming from them – but still, awesome. Very cheeky 😉
@Mamana You said yourself, you wear long tops and sweaters with them – thus making them leggings and not pants – so congratulations, the snark in this thread is not aimed at you! Calm yourself, no one is saying you can’t wear them – I have several pairs myself, but I don’t wear them as pants – ie, with a short waist-height shirt like I might with a pair of pants. Tis all in fun, no worries.
@mamana I have some too but like lowlevelrebel wear them with long tops and sweaters. they are super comfortable. love them with short dresses too.
@Mamana
Since you’re wearing long tops and sweaters on them you’re using leggings the right way 🙂
And either way the post is just meant to be in good humour… don’t take it seriously… I’m a guy so I totally don’t mind if girls want to wear leggings as pants on short tops 😛
WE ALL THANK YOU FOR SAVING US FROM THIS FASHION NO-NO!
Boo, does the size of the woman matter then?
THERE WAS A TIME WHEN SOMEONE I KNOW WORE , SHINY BLACK SPADEX LEGGINGS WITH A OVERSIZED (MAN’S) T-SHIRT.
UNFORTUNATELY, AS I SILENTLY THOUGHT “WHAT IS SHE THINKING”,
SHE BELIEVED THIS TO BE FASHION, BUT THANKFULLY IT WAS TEMPORARY INSANITY…..heheheheh…
SERIOUSLY, BAD ENOUGH LOOK WITHOUT ADDING THE SHEEN/SHINE. WE NOW LOOK BACK & LAUGH, BUT REALITY IS, IT’S UNATTRACTIVE & IT LEAD TO HURTFUL COMMENTS FROM OTHERS.
I DO WISH I HAD BEEN A BETTER PERSON AND TOLD THEM THE TRUTH, IN A NICE WAY.
SO, PLEASE BE HONEST WITH OTHERS, I MEAN “If the shoe does’nt fit, do not cut the toe off and make it a sandal” hehehe…
HAVE A GREAT DAY, Y’ALL!
Amen @LowLevelRebel’s comment. For some odd reason, some ppl take this little funny article a little too seriously… Unfortunately.
