    not available for Quebec 🙁

  15. Andrea says:

    That’s why the PMS level is higher in Quebec – we get excluded from alot of offers!! :o(

  16. benchmark says:

    Hmmm… I just ran into a weird error. I filled out the form using my name and gender (I’m a guy, ordering the coupon for my wife), and I got a big error page that said “Sorry, you are not eligible for this offer”. So I went back to the main Always page and filled out the same form, but this time I used my wife’s name and listed my gender as “female”… and it accepted.

    If I’m secure enough in my masculinity to go through a grocery store till with a jumbo-sized box of overnight heavy-flow panty liners, I’m certainly man enough to send away for a coupon for tampons. But Always seems to have a gender bias. A very manly “tsk tsk” for you, Always.

    Thanks 🙂

  18. K says:

    @benchmark
    That’s really weird because they might as well just get rid of the “specify your gender” part. Just make it “You must be female for this offer”. Under the Human Rights Code, that’s discrimination based on gender, which is AGAINST THE LAW. hmm. oh well. at least you got the offer 🙂

  19. New Mommy says:

    Also a new mom and used these afterwards as well, my recommendation to every woman packing for their hospital stay, I even wrote Always to tell them this and they wrote back saying they are sending coupons!

    @Benchmark
    Thanks for the laugh! Hats off to you – now if only all men were so secure in their masculinity…

  26. vibrantflame says:

    Thanks for letting us know about this great offer!

  27. Melissa says:

    Excluding Quebec 🙁

  28. Linda says:

    Correct me if I am wrong please but I was under the assumption the reason why Quebec is excluded from most Canada wide contests and coupons is due to the very stringent consumer protection laws in the province. Most companies don’t want to follow the rules set down by the Quebec government so exclude the province altogether.

  29. Ubertec says:

    Don’t forget to be female… They are gender bias… had to do the form twice.

  30. Sally says:

    Basically Linda, QC had made too many laws and rules about promos and sweetpstakes so a lot of companies just skip it.

    Ubertec, I don’t think their bias.. seriously, do you get a period?

  31. Lori says:

    Too funny Sally! lol

  32. Amy says:

    I think it does qualify as gender bias simply because although men do not get a period, they may be filling out the form to get the freebie for their wife/girlfriend/what-have-you who either does not have facebook, or is not available to fill out the form themselves at the time of the freebie.

    It also seems kind of weird of Always to have a male or female option on their form. It’s unnecessary – if they were unwilling to extend this freebie to the male population, why not just mention that on the main page of the freebie offer?

  33. Sally says:

    It never ceases to fail me on how many people will complain about just about anything.

  34. Amy says:

    @Sally,

    I say this with the utmost respect, but I hope that comment was not directed towards me. There is a difference between complaining and expressing one’s opinion.

    It never ceases to “amaze” me how different standards can be.

    It’s incredibly hard to measure tone on the internet. 🙂

  35. Mini-Me says:

    Sally,
    You’re complaining about the complaining???!!! LOL!

  36. S says:

    Do you think it’ll ever arrive with the postal strike going on?

  37. Mimi says:

    I live in Quebec and always receive promos that excludes Quebec: simply use anoter Province, avoid ‘accents’ and write the good postal code.

  38. Kimberley says:

    thanks we love this brand

  39. Farmergirl says:

    can’t get it to work. Think it’s over

  41. CountryMama says:

    It says I’m not Canadian… and I am, and I am in Canada… Are they just out of giveaways??

  42. Sarah says:

    They are all gone 🙁
