In case you haven’t been to IKEA Canada since before September 1st, and you’re an Ikea Family Member, you should be alerted that Ikea will no longer be offering their free coffee promo for family members. This promotion used to be valid Mondays through Fridays and was available to all Ikea Family Members, but has since been discontinued.
You can still receive free refills when you purchase drinks in the cafe, but for those of you who used to enjoy the pleasures of free coffee on your weekly IKEA trips, you will have to either cough up the change or pack a thermos of coffee ahead of time.
Also, can still receive free coffee or tea with $1 bargain breakfast offer.
Seasoned IKEA Canada shoppers are probably well aware of the Ikea bargain breakfast offer, where you can get scrambled eggs, 2 sausages, and home fries for just $1.00. However, some of you may not be aware of the fact that you can also claim your free coffee or tea with the bargain breakfast if you purchase it within the first 30 minutes of the restaurant being open.
Since Ikea has discontinued their offer of free coffee or tea during the week for family members, this offer may be an alternative for you to sneak in your free coffee and also come out with a rather inexpensive breakfast option during the work week.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders Fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders Fields.
– John McCrae

There is some great news for Nike Canada fans! The popular brand has now officially launched its Nike Canada! This means that Canadians can now purchase their favourite shoes, apparel, accessories and more directly from Nike in Canadian dollars without having to worry about pricey international shipping fees and customs costs!
At the moment there is not a Nike+ program in Canada like in the US, so there’s no way for members to get free shipping on their orders. Hopefully this changes soon. At the moment, Nike Canada offers $10 standard shipping to most urban and rural locations in Canada. If you want free shipping, you’ll have to spend quite a bit as there is a $250 free ship minimum.
At the moment, there’s no clearance section on the Canadian Nike site, but you can purchase stylish new products like these women’s Nike Free Cross Compete shoes for $115. These ultra-lightweight training shoes are made especially for high intensity workouts. They have a mesh and synthetic upper for breathability and a lightweight feel, exposed Flywire cables, and an injected unit sole that doubles as the outsole for low-profile, lightweight cushioning as you move.
As mentioned, Nike Canada offers free shipping on orders over $250, for anything less that that, you’ll be paying $10 standard shipping.
