There are some unfortunate changes to No Frills Canada’s price matching policies being tested out in London, Ontario right now. As of October 23, 2015, shoppers in London, Ontario are now only able to price match items featured in No Frills’ weekly flyer.
Currently, most Canadian shoppers can price match just about anything in store when you bring in a flyer or receipt of a cheaper item from one of No Frills’ major supermarket competitors within this storeâs geographical trade area. This new pilot project is restricting this offer even more and limiting shoppers to price matching only the items featured in No Frills’ flyer. You can already view the different policies online when setting your store location as you will see a different price matching policy on the bottom of the home page for London as compared to other cities.
As of right now, this is pilot project being tested out in London, ON, but depending on how this new policy tests, shoppers could see some changes to No Frills “We Won’t be Beat” policy.
There’s no word yet as to when or if this policy will roll out nationwide.
Good news for fans of luxury brand retailer Holt Renfrew Canada! In an effort to compete with the arrival of Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom in Canada, Holt Renfrew is hoping to gain some edge by offering online shopping to Canadian customers!
At the moment it seems Holt Renfrew is only offering online shopping for their popular beauty brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Sisley, La Prairie, La Mer, Christian Louboutin, and more; however, this is a great opportunity for customers who do not live near a Holt Renfrew to stock up on their favourites.
Hopefully in the future, Holt Renfrew will expand their online shopping options to better compete with shops like Nordstom, which has already announced plans to open a Canadian shopping site in the future.
If you’re shopping online with Holt Renfrew, they currently offer free shipping on beauty orders over $100. You can also select some great samples at checkout as well.
Joe Fresh Canada has recalled their striped quilted baby jackets that have the tags with the style code BBF5OT4316.
