If purchasing at Loblaws or Rexall you need to pick up a coupon at the gift card section, they scan at regular price without it.  Rexall may be the better option if you want a larger denomination as I know Loblaws put a limit on previous gift card offers.

If shopping at Chapters-Indigo online this weekend, you can save a further 15% on select items with coupon code INDIGO15. The coupon includes purchases of regular priced style, decor, paper, toys and more (major exclusions are books, Lego and electronics).

It will still be one of the cheaper free shipping thresholds in Canada, but Amazon quietly raised the amount you need to spend for free shipping without Prime to $35.

If you spend less than $35, shipping will cost over $4 depending on items and weight and lots of small items can really drive up the price on per-item shipping costs so if you order small stuff and do not spend $35 regularly, Prime may be worth it.  You can see a full list of shipping costs here.

Amazon Prime is $79 per year and includes a 30 day free trial, so if you order very occasionally, it can be worth signing up and cancelling before your trial ends (which you can only do once).

Two brand new coupons are available to be printed through the Tasty Rewards coupon portal! Save $2 on your next purchase of any Frito-Lay Multipack (18 count, any variety) and save $1 on your next purchase of Quaker Super Grains granola bars (130g) at participating retailers.

The Frito-Lay Multipack comes in several different assortments, such as the one pictured on the coupon. There are also 18 count boxes that are a variety of strictly Doritos if you would prefer that. These boxes retail for over $6 at Walmart Canada, making them $4 and change with the coupon. These would be great for Halloween treats, lunches, etc.

The Chewy Super Grains granola bars are not the ones currently on sale for 99 cents at Food Basics, but they have gone on sale in the past for as little as $1.44 at Walmart Canada, so it may be wise to print the coupon anyways.

If you are not familiar with Marca College, they are L’Oreal’s school of hair and esthetics with locations in Toronto East, Toronto West, Mississauga, Brampton and Hamilton.  Since students are working on your hair (under the strict guidance of instructors who check regularly with each student as they work) their prices are very reasonable and they have monthly specials.  If you are on a budget and want some pampering, they are worth checking out in general but they have an amazing deal next week.

Get a full application of colour (foils not included) plus dry and style for just $15, regularly $28 on Wednesday 28th September only.  I am not sure I would go for an extreme change with a student doing my hair, but if you just want a refresh for fall after all that sun bleached your hair or cover up your grey roots with salon quality l’Oreal hair colour, $15 is an amazing price.

The downside is that they do not accept appointments, so you may have to wait for a while for an appointment.  Do not expect them to be as quick as your regular salon, between checking with instructors and not having the years of experience, appointments usually take longer than usual.

If hair colour is not your thing, they have a special on through October for a wash, cut, treatment (several to choose from) and style for just $20 or if you prefer highlights to full colour, partial highlights and style is only $35.  Select locations also offer esthetics and you can get a Bio Seaweed Gel manicure (similar wear time to Shellac) for $18.
