Amazon.ca is currently selling this hot (pardon the pun) deal on the Black and Decker Dual Temperature Heat Gun, as it is now on sale for just $19.99 (regularly $62.27). The heating gun, plain and simple, performs exactly the task that it is set out to do with great ease, and that is produce heat. Most of the customers who bought this product were very satisfied with their purchase, as the gun comes with two heat settings (750 degrees and 1000 degrees) that make stripping paint, moulding plastic, or whatever else you may need direct heat for a simple task.
In comparison to other retailers that were selling the same model, the deal that Amazon.ca has on the Black and Decker Heat Gun is arguably by far the best. Walmart is selling the same model for $29.98 and since Walmart no longer offers free-shipping on all orders, you would need to fill your cart with over $30 worth of product to qualify for free-shipping. The Punjabi International Film Festival, which is one of the largest South Asian film festivals in North America, is being hosted in Toronto this year over the Victoria Day long weekend (from May 14th-May 18th). During this festival, you can make a request to receive a free film screening pass to almost all of the movies. This would be a fun (and cheap) option for your Friday night date night, or even if you’re looking for something inexpensive to do with a friend on one of this weekend’s lazy afternoons in.
You will be limited to two passes per request, or rather per e-mail, so if you wanted to take the whole family out (or a large group of friends) then you would need to have a couple of people from your group request free tickets.
West Jet Canada is having a sale on their summer seasonal routes to select U.S. destinations, with prices dipping as low as $281 on roundtrip tickets from Vancouver to visit the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. This seasonal sale will only be valid for new purchases made by May 20th at 11:59pm MT and that have dates of travel booked by June 24th (inclusive).
While searching for hot ticket prices in this seat sale, I was able to find a roundtrip ticket from Vancouver to San Francisco for just $282. The dates of travel were both on Tuesdays, a day of the week which I find helps to keep the prices down when you are looking for good travel deals. When I compared the price that West Jet was selling this roundtrip ticket for, from May 26th-June 2nd, I saw that it was at least $24 cheaper than the closest competing airline.

Amazon.ca has a recently updated their movies and TV shows deal section, and within this section I was able to find a rather hot deal on a masterpiece collection that will, for some of you, be a really big throwback. The deal that I speak of is the 44% markdown on, Alfred Hitchcock: The Masterpiece Collection. The box set includes 15 different movies from the critically acclaimed director and screenwriter, and will also showcase some of old Hollywood’s most talented actors and actresses that sparkled across the big screen during the Golden Age of cinema.
Of the many classics that are included in this 15-movie set, one of my personal favourites, which stars James Stewart and Grace Kelly, has been included in the collection. The film being, Rear Window, which on Rotten Tomatoes (like many of Hitchcock’s films) has received a 100% rating on the Tomatometer scale. Bench Canada’s sale on men’s and women’s jackets and sweaters features deals where you can save up to 50% off on select pieces, plus, if you haven’t already signed up to receive Bench, then you can save an additional 5% off on your purchase.
Within the women’s sale, I was able to find this Nolie Zip Thru sweater for half-off the original price of $79, now just $39.50. The post-morning yoga sweater is also available in honey suckle pink, black, mint green, and white, but all of these colours are being sold for $59.99, rather than the grey sweater which is $20 cheaper.
Another great deal from the women’s sale was this Garlick II Jacket, which is on sale for just $99.99 (regularly $149). This jacket comes with thumbholes, which would make it a great piece for wearing outdoors on morning hikes or runs that are just a little too brisk to go without an extra layer, but not quite cold enough to merit a pair of gloves/mitts.

The closest price that I could find on the same Fitbit Flex was at Best Buy Canada, where they are selling it for $99.99. If you don’t have Visa Checkout, and don’t intend to get it, then you may opt to buy your Fitbit Flex from Best Buy, seeing as it is being sold at a decent price point.
