Free ice cream never fails to be exciting! First we had free cone day at Dairy Queen Canada earlier this week, and the excitement continues next month, with free cone day happening at Ben & Jerry’s Canada on April the 14, 2015.

The offer of a free cone is valid from 12 o’clock noon until 8pm on April the 14, 2015, at participating Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop locations. There aren’t too many locations across Canada, however if you are one of the lucky ones who does have a location near you, you can check the Scoop Shop locator to confirm whether your location will be participating ahead of time.

Click here to find the Ben & Jerry’s Canada location near you using the Scoop Shop Locator. Sadly, I do not have a location near me, so I will be celebrating free cone day with a tub of Chunky Monkey from the grocery store.

7-Eleven Canada knows how to kick the weekend off just right, as they’re booting us into high gear today with their Bring Your Own Cup slurpee offer. Not only is this offer eco-effecient, but it is also money saving as you can bring in any size cup to a participating 7-Eleven location and pay the flat rate fee of $1.49 for any size slurpee. The offer will be running today only from 11am until 7pm this evening, so you will have almost the entire day to take advantage of this slurpee offer.

There are of course a few rules to this offer, which only makes sense as when stores run promotions where they say you can ‘bring anything’ as your cup, people tend to get a little too creative and sometimes reckless. The restrictions that 7-Eleven is putting on the cups that you can bring in are that they must be within 26cm in diameter and they must also fit the measuring hole that is displayed in each 7-Eleven store. The cups must also be water tight (so no filling up of your purses will be permitted), and a Food Safe container (please don’t try to fill up a previously used hand sanitizer container).

7-Eleven is limiting this offer to one fill up per person today.

It seems that Rexall Canada is beginning to rival Shoppers Drug Mart when it comes to printable coupon offers during the week! Rexall Canada has made another coupon for bonus Air Miles rewards miles available, this one being valid this weekend only. From today, Friday March the 20th, to Sunday, March the 22nd, get 40 bonus Air Miles reward miles added to your collector account when you spend $40 or more on almost everything in the store.

Your minimum spent must be $40 before taxes, however keep in mind that like the Shoppers Drug Mart Optimum program, you can use coupons to bring down the amount that you have to spend out of pocket, like cash. Also, as the coupon does state that there is a limit of one offer per transaction, you have the ability to do more than one transaction and use the coupon more than once. If you are going to spend at least $80, make sure to break your purchase up into two and use the coupon once per transaction.

Click here to print your coupon for 40 bonus Air Miles reward miles when you spend $40 or more at Rexall Canada, March 20th to 22nd.

Shop today for the best deal.  Like Sobeys, they are holding a huge Air Miles deal and you will earn 125 Air Miles when you spend $100 today only plus many Air Miles deals during their Extreme Friday Air Miles promotion

It is that time of year! Old Navy is holding the first of its tank top sales starting today.

For two days only, you can get select tank tops for just $2 each.  There is a limit of 5 per person and this sale is usually very popular so shop early for the best selection. Based on previous years, this sale usually includes rib knit perfect fit tanks, and fitted tamis/camis.  Mine excluded the shelf bra ones and the looser fitting tanks last time they held this promotion.

Click here to view the selection of tanks online, but the $2 sale is valid in-store only.

For this weekend only, you can shop at the Hudson’s Bay Canada using an exclusive promo code, that is specifically for Smart Canucks shoppers, that will save you $15 off on your total purchase of $100 or more when you shop within the Home Department at the Bay. You will have to enter the promo code, SMARTCAN15, at the checkout to receive the discount and you will only be permitted to use the code on regular priced items within the Home Department.

While you are allowed to use the promo code on anything within the home section at the Hudson’s Bay, I thought it would be best exercised on products that come in just above or are close to the $100 minimum. The section that seemed to best fit this bill was the dinnerware collection, where you can pick up individual pieces to tally up to your $100 minimum, or pick up a 5-piece or 16-piece set to qualify.

I personally loved this Kate Spade New York Grace Avenue 5 Piece Place Setting, as the little bows around each piece seemed to give each piece a bit of charisma that plain plates seem to lack. Without the $15 off discount this place setting would be $155, but with it the set will be discounted to just $140. You will end up getting a dinner plate, salad plate, bread and butter plate, cup and saucer, all of which are dishwasher safe.

The Hudson’s Bay Canada also offers free-shipping on all orders that exceed $99, so if you are meeting the requirements for the Smart Canucks promo code then you will most likely also qualify for free-shipping.

This exclusive promo code will be available online from Friday, March 20th until March 24th.

Continuing with the their Beauty Week deals, Groupon Canada has decided to have a two-day sale on Fresh Beauty Picks in your local region. This sale requires no promo code, as the advertised discount will reflect the up to extra 30% off that Groupon has discounted their beauty packages by for the next two days.

This extra discount that Groupon is applying to their already massively discounted packages is making it so that some of the Groupons are up to 98% off their retail value. For instance, I was able to find a laser hair removal package that is valid for unlimited uses for 1 year on up to 6 different body parts for just $177. Groupon would normally sell this package for $199, which is still quite inexpensive as the package itself is valued to be worth $8,752.

The deals that are being discounted at the extra rate will be advertised with a red slash through their previous price, and they will also state that the extra sale will expire on March 20th.

Suzy Shier recently launched a line of plus size clothing.  The spring Suzy+ collection will be available in 66 Suzy Shier stores (find a list here) as well as online.

Suzy Shier admits that they are starting with a small collection and limited stores while they get feedback from customers but they have priced the collection at affordable prices and have some on trend items.

Like many of the dresses, this sunburst pleated sheath dress is only $46.  It can be hard to find affordable, nice looking office wear and this dress is perfect for work and can be glammed up with accessories for a night out.  They have a cute blazer (shown above) that you can wear with almost any of their collection for only $44.

If you are looking for less formal, they also have tops and pants priced $26-$50 – yes, the most expensive item in the collection is just $50!

Suzy Shier’s regular line tends to be on the smaller size, so it is probably a good idea to find one of the stores to try on the plus line and get an idea of sizing before ordering anything online.  While so many clothes stores are going out of business, it is great to see one expanding their line and listening to customer feedback.
