On the Ladies Night event page it does not say that you can’t combine it with coupons. However the coupon does say that it can’t be combined with any other offers. So my guess is that using the coupon will be a hit or miss. If however you can use the coupon too then this is definitely a hot deal!

For the month of May the Caption Challenge is going to go a little thematic. Maybe it’s just my excitement over the new Star Trek movie or maybe it’s just that I’ve always got my head in the clouds, but for the next few weeks we’re going to try and keep our eyes on the stars. Don’t worry if you’re not too astronautically inclined, we’ll try to keep the pictures fun for everyone.
This week features some earth folks from the early days of the space race. What they’re doing, I haven’t the slightest idea. But I’m sure your witty captions can figure it out!

If you haven’t read this book or seen the movie, I strongly suggest you do! Read the book first if you can get your hands on it. Apparently it’s difficult to find. I was fortunate enough to find it at a used book store.
It’s the remarkable journey of a woman who entered every contest she possibly could in order to support her family (10 kids!). It was written by her daughter. Now, this was waaaay back before computers. The contests weren’t just a random draw, either, she had to write jingles and such. You can read the actual contest entries in the book.
If you ever feel you’ve hit a contest slump or an economic hardship, this book (or movie) is sure to pick you up. The movie shows all 10 “kids” at the end.
This is a true, inspirational tale!
