*Free Signature Collection item up to a $12.50 value. Not valid online or on previously purchased merchandise.

I did this promo the last time it was offered and bought 3 clearance items (Coconut and Passionfruit scents) for $15 and picked the Warm Vanilla Sugar body lotion for my free item. I’m not even halfway through it, but I think I’ll pick up another free one this weekend. Why not? Lol!

Thanks couponlady!

How’s this for a super mega extra early heads up? Next Saturday, Nov. 20th, 2010, Shoppers Drug Mart is holding their 20x Optimum Points event. This is just the promo I was waiting for since I’m just a few thousand away from redeeming $400 on bonus redemption day, typically held the weekend after 20x points event, but that’s not for sure yet. I’m just hoping, lol! I’m excited to use my Brandsaver coupons, hopefully to bring down my out of pocket total to about $20.

Thanks to Tripsplanner, crocodile, and CrazyQT for the super early heads up! You guys rock!

*Excludes snowsuits, winter boots, and winter accessories. Offer valid from Nov. 12-14, 2010. Not valid on gift cards and previously purchased merchandise.

Well I’m happy that Bonnie Togs released a coupon since I love their stuff, but it’s too bad the coupon excludes winter accessories, those are what I need to get.

From Nov. 12 – 14, 2010, The Bay is offering a free $25 savings card when you spend $75 or more (before taxes). Savings card is redeemable from Nov. 22 – Dec. 31, 2010 on purchases of $100 or more. One savings card per transaction. Cosmetics and fragrances excluded. It’s nice that the savings card is redeemable until the end of the year. Boxing Day would be a good time to redeem it.

Finally something good comes out of my Rogers subscription service! The Rogers 4th Annual Customer Appreciation Event entitles current Rogers clients to free gifts and prizes. I picked a 6 month subscription to Flare magazine. Note that you need an actual Rogers account (home phone, cable, internet, or mobile) to claim your gift because it asks for your Rogers account number.

Thanks to Canuckerr and ckmullin for posting this great freebie!

Offer valid from Friday, November 12 to Sunday, November 21, 2010. Limit of one free photobook per sign up at shoppersphoto.ca. Enter promo code PHOTO at checkout screen when prompted. I tried this and you have to install Microsoft Silver Light to upload your pictures. It only took about 10 seconds to install, no biggie. The photo books look really nice, you can choose your background and put captions on your photos. Remember that it’s the softcover 20-page 7×9 type that the promo code covers. If your photo book does not fit these specifications exactly, the promo code will not work. Once you finish making it you can choose which SDM location to pick it up. The retail value for the photo book is $14.99, great freebie!

***UPDATE*** I called Customer Service because my confirmation email said $14.99 payment due at pick-up, while when I submitted my order with the promo code it said $0. The CS rep said that the auto-reply confirmation email has not yet been updated with the free promo, but when your order comes to the store it should indeed be $0. Any problems, the number to call is 1 888 327 9749.

Kids been bugging you for all the new shiny toys in-store and on tv? Nows the time to get them to finalize their essays on what they’d like and send them off to Santa!

The Santa Letter-writing Program brings joy to children from across Canada and around the world. In addition to giving many children their first introduction to letter writing, this program is also a very important part of the holiday season for thousands of Canada Post employees and retirees.

Currently, more than one million children write to Santa at his ‘NORTH POLE H0H 0H0’ address. Each letter that includes a return address receives a reply from Santa.

More than 11,000 current and retired Canada Post employees, affectionately called Postal Elves, help Santa to ensure that every child’s letter gets an answer in the language in which the letter was written, including Braille (emails are answered in English or French).

Encourage your children and students to write to Santa. It is a fun learning experience that helps teach kids how to write and send a letter. To ensure that children will receive a reply from Santa before Christmas, they should write as early as possible. Remember to include your return address. Teachers are urged to send their classroom letters by December 3.

Although Santa loves to receive letters and drawings, putting cookies and treats in your envelope is not a good idea as they will get crushed and damaged by the time they reach Santa. Santa much prefers to eat his treats on Christmas Eve, so please have your children save them at home for the big day!
