Thanks Katie & jpottawa for posting this Smoofer coupon code in the Canadian Shopping Deals and Flyers section 😀

If you’re interested in funky looking Tees like the Threadless T-Shirts you’ll probably love this deal from Smoofer.com! Use coupon code holiday to save 15% on Smoofer.com’s T-Shirts.

Smoofer is a Canadian company that sells licensed T-Shirts. I don’t think the T-Shirts are actually made in Canada but hey they’re trying and at least their warehouses are located in Canada not the US. As for pricing, most T-shirts are $19 so after the 15% discount they’ll cost $16.15. Shipping is free and they ship to everywhere in Canada. I’d say this is a pretty good deal although I would have liked to see more designs. But they’re new so let’s give them a chance and a thumbs up for trying.

Update: Smoofer staff left the following comment on the blog 😀

WOW….great support for SMOOFER.com

Next 3 people to buy a shirt from our site, and use PROMO code “canucks” (without the quotes and in lower case) will get 20% OFF.

Happy Shopping Smart Canucks!

Before you vote I’d also like to point you to one of the top 5 finalists who I think has an awesome blog and in my opinion deserves this award. Attack of the Redneck Mommy is one of the most enjoyable blogs out there. Redneck Mommy’s posts always touch my heart and leave tears in my eyes.

Thanks maria007 for posting this freebie in the Canadian Freebies & Samples forum 😀

Get a Free K’NEX Sample. Use coupon code KNSF08. Note that Canadian provinces are listed in the “State” drop down menu. Members on the Smart Canucks forum have reported receiving this freebie and that’s why I’m blogging it.

Just in case you don’t know what K’nex is, it is a toys building system that consists of interconnecting plastic rods and connectors to form all kinds of contraptions. K’NEX is a construction toy, and therefore in the same genre as LEGO and Meccano. However, unlike LEGO it focuses more on the structural intergrity and load handling of the structure rather than the design.

If you’re a fan of popcorn cinemas and summer blockbusters, I probably don’t need to tell you that The Dark Knight — the biggest film of 2008 — is coming out on DVD this Tuesday December 9th. If you’re planning on picking this up (and really, who isn’t?) Empire Cinemas is hosting what could possibly be the coolest DVD release event ever. Instead of giving away movie-related tie-in’s or a bonus discount, Empire is inviting you to see the movie on the big screen one last time.

Select cities throughout Canada will be hosting the event which will kick off at 9:30pm on Monday, November 7th. Traditional DVD’s will be $25 and Blu-ray’s will be $30, and you’ll have to pay the price of admission on top of that. When the movie ends at 12:01, the cinemas will place a copy of the film in your hands to take home with you.

The Dark Knight is one of those rare films that everyone should see on the big screen. Take a peek at the list of cities hosting the event and see if one is close enough to make it happen;

AB – CALGARY – Empire Studio 10 Macleod Trail
BC – SURREY – Empire Studio 12 Guildford
MB – WINNIPEG – Empire Grant Park 8 Cinemas
NB – MONCTON – Empire 8 Trinity Drive
NL – ST. JOHN’S – Empire Studio 12
ON – KITCHENER – Empire Studio 12 Gateway Park
ON – NORTH YORK – Empire Empress Walk 10 Cinemas
ON – ST. CATHARINES – Empire Studio 8 Pen Centre
