For a limited time, the Royal Canadian Mint will be offering this fun coin collection featuring some of your favourite Looney Tune characters goofing around in their usual fashion, but this time on Canadian $10, $20 and $30 coins.

The Looney Tunes coins will be rolling out each month, so instead of waiting around for each coin to become available you could instead purchase a four-coin subscription, which will be $109.95/coin, and with that subscription you will receive a free watch. Or, you could purchase the 8-coin subscription which will have a $10 face value, and will cost $49.95/coin.

If you don’t wish to collect the subscription coins, then you can opt to buy a singular coin, like this 1 oz. Fine Silver Coloured Coin – Looney TunesTM: Merrie Melodies (2015). This coin costs $109.95 and will come with a complimentary Acme crate box that mimics the box that was featured in the original shorts. Each coin will also have a surprise that has been craftily hidden in the design element.

Staples Canada has partnered with VISA Checkout to provide shoppers with a chance to save more when they spend more online at Stapes.ca. In their offer, Staples will provide you with $20 off on your order of $100 or more before taxes, but they will only allow you to use this discount once per person. There are also some restrictions as to what the discount can be applied to, these restricted items include:
- Bose products
- downloadable software, services, business service provider or custom-printing service provider Web sites
- gift cards
- dining/activities/getaway packages
- phone cards
- postage stamps, purchases for Canada Post postage

An idea of what you could use this discount on is combining it with the 40% off sale that Staples is offering on Pampers products. Right now, you can purchase Pampers Baby Dry Diapers, Super Economy packages in sizes 1-6 for just $19.99 (regularly $31.99) and Pampers Wipes for just $3.99 (regularly $4.99). If you were wanting to stock up on diapers, you could purchase 5 packages of diapers (Stapes limits you from adding more after that), and combine that with 2 cartons of baby wipes to bring your order total to just $103.93. Should you have a VISA Checkout membership, you could save an additional $20 off on this order meaning that you would only be paying $83.93 for an order that, under regular circumstances, would have cost you $169.93.
Staples also offers free-shipping on all orders that are $45 or more.

Naturalizer Canada has a couple of sweet offers to bring to us shoppers this morning, all of which can be stacked to bring your cart’s total down to a much more digestible price. Normally, when I see deals such as the ones that Naturalizer offers, where you can save buckets of money on shoe purchases, I am able to justify ordering myself extra pairs of shoes. You, however, can opt to resist this kind of tempting rationalization and instead save your money.

Naturalizer is currently having a sale on all spring shoes and handbags, with the selected pieces being reduced to 20% off their original price. This sale requires no promo code, as the discount is already reflected in the advertised price, but if you would like to save even more you can apply the promo code, HELLOSUN, to receive an additional 20% off your total order.

So while I was shopping within the spring sale, I was able to find this Horizon Crossbody handbag for just $48 (was $60) and these Wendy Multi Colour Leather sandals for the reduced price of $89.99 (was $100). When I added both of these items to my cart and applied the HELLOSUN promo code, my order total was brought down from being $137.99 to just $110.39.
Naturalizer will also be offering free-shipping on all orders with no minimum purchase until Wednesday, May 6th. Normally, shipping and handling would be a flat-rate of $5 for your first item and then an extra $2 for each item you added after the initial piece.

Starting this Thursday, May 7th is the much anticipated start date of the Dollar Drink Days promotion at McDonald’s Canada. If you haven’t had the pleasure of taking advantage of this promotional event in the past, then you will be excited to hear that during Dollar Drink Days at McDonald’s you can buy any size soft drink for, you guessed it, one dollar.
If soft drinks aren’t your go-to summertime beverage for cooling off on a hot day, then you can also get either a small or medium size iced coffee. You will have the choice between getting a regular iced coffee, or you can get a little crazy and add in a shot of caramel, vanilla, or sugar-free vanilla to give yourself a nice little treat.
This promotion generally runs for at least a couple of weeks, though there has been no end date provided for the public yet.

Escape fares on select routes at VIA Rail Canada have gone on sale once again this week and in this sale you’ll be able to save on both Economy class as well as Sleeper class tickets. You will have to select the ‘escape fare’ option to receive the discounts and you must book your ticket before 11:59pm EST tonight.

If you’re looking at Economy class escape fare tickets, then you will have to book your days of travel for between Wednesday, May 6th and Tuesday, May 12th (inclusive) for the short-haul trips within the Quebec-Windsor corridor. While those of you booking long-haul trips will have a bit longer to book your trips, as the last possible day for travel will be Tuesday, June 2nd.
Sleeper class tickets will follow similar restrictions, but there are a limited number of tickets available at the discounted rates, so you had better act fast if you are booking for a larger party to ensure you are able to accommodate everyone.

When it comes to toys, Walmart Canada is normally my safest bet for finding the best price. And in today’s clearance sale I was not disappointed with Walmart’s deals as I was able to find an incredible toy sale on a Barbie Fiat. This realistic looking Barbie vehicle and doll would normally sell on Walmart for just under $40, but right now you can purchase it for $30. On Amazon.ca, the same Barbie doll and Fiat set was being sold for $44.52, which even when you take the shipping and handling into account, is still almost $10 more than Walmart’s price.

This Graco 3-in-1 Tote Bag from the Forecaster collection is also on sale within the Walmart clearance sale and is now being sold for just $20 (was $34.97). When you’re shopping for a suitable diaper bag, the main feature you should be on the lookout for is to find one with lots of pockets with spots that are easily accessible for when you’re standing at the front door searching for your keys and have a crying baby on your hip. This bag comes with several interior, exterior and side pockets that are designed to hold everything from wallets to water bottles. Even better, this 3-in-1 bag comes equipped with a deluxe changing pad for those times when you may find yourself without a place to change your baby.

The last deal that I found within Walmart’s clearance sale was this hot discount on the Safety 1st Alpha Omega 3-in-1 Car Seat, which is now $51.97 off the original price of $199.97, now just $148. While this reduced price may still seem like a steep price to pay for a car seat, the car seat is actually quite worth the investment. The seat will grow with your child from infant to toddler, as it starts out as a rear-facing car seat from birth to 1 year (about 40 pounds) and then graduates to a front facing car seat for toddlers until they are about 4 1/2 (or 65 pounds). The seat can then be used as a belt-positioning booster seat until your child is about 80 pounds, after which your child probably won’t require any extra assistance while sitting in a car.
Walmart offers free-shipping on all orders that are $50 or more, otherwise they will charge $4.97.

While the weather outside may be warm enough now for you to fire up your outdoor BBQ and grill some of your summertime favourites, some of you, such as myself, may not have enough space to fit an outdoor grill, or even have a patio to speak of. For those of us who still would like to take part in the joys of freshly grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, there is the simple solution of investing in an indoor grill, such as this Hamilton Beach Stainless Steel Removable Plate Indoor Grill. Newegg.ca is currently selling this model from Hamilton Beach for just $49.99, though it usually retails for $79.99.

This grill comes with a drip-tray that is designed to catch the grilling-fat that runs off while cooking on the indoor grill, meaning that this grill is also a healthier alternative to many other methods of cooking. All of the pieces in this set, the removable plates and drip-plate, are dishwasher safe which makes clean up as easy as loading up your dishwasher.

Another great deal from Newegg.ca is this 40% off sale being offered on the Samsung 5TB STSHX-D501TDB Desktop External Hard Drive(Black), as it is now being sold for just $149.90 (was $249.90). This external hard drive comes pre-installed with software to automatically back up your data, as well as offering a preinstalled feature that provides extra protection for your information through encrypting your information. There is a 3-year warranty on this product and it will perform 3 times faster than the USB 2.0 external hard drives, making this a safer and more efficient purchase than other external hard drives.
Newegg.ca’s shipping and handling prices will vary depending on your order and the area that you are shipping to.

This deal from Domino’s Pizza Canada is arguably one of the better ones that they have offered, in quite some time. In this offer, you can order a large pizza, with either light or normal topping portions, and have as many as 10 different pizza toppings for just $13.99.

I was able to order this large pizza with 10 different toppings, a cap that Domino’s adds due to baking quality, for the advertised price of $13.99. Ordinarily, an order of this magnitude would cost $26.99, meaning you’ll be paying close to half the price of the actual retail value. What’s also nice about this offer, is that you can apply the promo code, 4586, to extra orders of large pizzas. So you could order two large pizzas with 10 different toppings for a total of $27.98, an order which would normally cost $53.98!
If you are ordering a pan pizza or a gluten-free crust, then you will be charged extra.
