Today at Sears Canada, you can save big on Kenmore appliances, more specifically on kitchen refrigerators and vacuum cleaners. The Kenmore 19.5 cu. ft. 30″ French Door Stainless Steel Fridge from Sears is on sale (today only) for $700 off the retail price of $1999.99, and is now just $1,299.99. This refrigerator is the perfect solution to smaller kitchens as the double-door French doors are slim enough to not dominate much of your space. Plus, unlike most smaller refrigerators, this stainless steel Kenmore model has a bottom-freezer, which means you will have a larger area of your fridge dedicated to the freezer section.

Sears is also running a one-day special pricing on Kenmore vacuums, with the hottest offer being on the Kenmore 12-amp canister vacuum. This model is now being sold for just $299.99, which is a substantial $200 off the original price of $499.99. If this vacuum is still a bit outside your comfort zone, then you could opt for this Kenmore/MD 12-Amp Bagless Upright Vacuum, which is just $119.99 (was $199.99), or this Kenmore/MD 12-Amp Upright Vacuum, which is $10 cheaper at just $109.99 (was $149.99).

Sears offers free-shipping on all orders that are $99 or more.

NCIX Canada has two great online offers being offered right now, both of which qualify for free-shipping to make them that much sweeter. The first offer they have is on a Breo iDream1180 Head Massager.

The special pricing on the Breo iDream1180 will only be available until May 13th, but I cannot say with much certainty that it will remain in-stock until then as it is currently on sale for $160 off the original price. Previously the head massager was being sold for $239.99, but right now you can buy it for just $79.99. The Breo iDream1180 wraps around your head and neck and can be set to four different massage settings, including: Air Pressure, Vibration, Pressure Point, and Infrared Heat Compression.

The second online offer that NCIX has available right now, that will also be ending on May 13th, is the sale on the Samsung M2070FW Xpress Monochrome Multi Function Laser Printer. Normally, this laser printer would sell on NCIX for $249.99, but for the time being it can be purchased for just $99.99 (meaning you’ll be saving yourself $150). This printer includes a number of desirable features, such as:

• 4-in-1 multifunction: printing, copying, scanning and faxing
• Google Cloud Print, print from tablet, smart phone or other web connected device
• 600MHz processor
• 128 MB memory
• prints 20 pages per minute
• up to 4800 x 600 dpi
• measures compact design of 40.6 x 35.9 cm

NCIX will offer free-shipping on both of these products.

This weekend, Adidas Canada will be hosting a Friends and Family event where you can save 40% off on all regular priced merchandise found both in-store and online. The discount will be automatically applied to your cart once you have added a qualifying product, but sadly, already reduced merchandise cannot be used in this offer for a stacked savings.

That being said, you can use this discount on a variety of sports gear including, tennis and golf shoes, running sneakers, and even soccer accessories. For instance, these Adidas F50 Lite Shin Guards would normally be $25, but with the family and friends discount they will be reduced to just $15. The savings get even bigger on the more expensive products, like these women’s Yvori training shoes which were previously being sold for $110 but are now only $66.

You can also pick up apparel from Adidas that isn’t necessarily just for sport and has more of a fashionable appeal with a bit of a sporty influence. This women’s City Tokyo Hoodie could be worn for a relaxed weekend look just as easily as it could be worn for a post-game cool down. The hoodie normally retails for $75, but with the 40% off it will only be $45.

Adida will be running this Family and Friends event until 11:59pm PST on Sunday, May 10th.

Adidas also offers free-shipping on all orders that are $50 or more.

Lululemon Canada’s We Made Too Much sale has once again updated their lineup of reduced workout gear to now include some more women’s running jackets, and even some hot deals for the guys as well. Remember that however sweet these initial offers may appear, that they are all final sale so if you should be dissatisfied with your purchase in any way (fit, size, etc.) you will not be able to return or exchange it for another product.

Within the women’s sale, I found this lovely trail bound 1/2 zip jacket, or running top, on sale for just $69. The name of the product doesn’t really matter, but rather the fact that it is discounted from $98 down to $69 and is also a great workout top. The trail bound 1/2 zip has conveniently placed zippers on the side of your arm, so that you can easily access your phone/keys. It also has panels on the side to protect you from branches while you’re on a hike, and to cool you down when you work up a sweat.

Within the men’s sale there was an even better deal available, which was one the Brut jacket. Ordinarily, this water-resistant jacket would sell for $168, but right now can be purchased for $109 (saving you a total of $59!)

You can also pick up a women’s all sport bra with an adjustable closure for just $39 (was $54), and a men’s Le Henley for the reduced price of $69 (was $98).

Lululemon Canada offers free-shipping on all orders.

This chic city bag that is being sold by the Hudson’s Bay Canada has, for reasons unbeknownst to me, been marked down to be only $56. The Guess Berry Cute Colourblocked handbag normally retails for $140, so by having it reduced to just $56 would mean that is is on sale right now for 60% off.

The sale price on this bag is only valid on the darker version, which I personally think is more practical than the natural and cream colour blocked bag as it will be less prone to scuff marks than the lighter version would be. The bag features a funky croc embossed front flap, which adds convenience for your daily travels as you can store your keys, I.D., or any other smaller items that are generally required on a day to day basis.

Also, since the bag has a drop length that is just suitable to be a shoulder bag, it can double as a handbag for the times when you’d like to give your shoulders a break.

The Hudson’s Bay offers free-shipping on all orders that are $99 or more.

For this weekend only, when you shop in-store, you can save 20% off on all rugs at Ikea Canada, with the only exclusions being on bathroom mats, everything else is fair game. If you’d like to take a look at the selection of rugs before heading into a retail store, you can browse through the rugs online and see that the prices shown already reflect the 20% discount.

Ikea has a variety of rugs all sold at varying price brackets, so whether you’re on the hunt for an inexpensive, quick fix rug, or something more long term, then Ikea has more than got you covered. A modestly priced area rug that I found in this sale was regularly being sold for $249, but is now on sale for just $119.20. The rug, the Stockholm, measures 7′ 10″ x 5′ 7″ and has a total square footage of about 43 sq. ft.

However, if you’re just looking for a smaller rug to protect a small floor space, or liven up a bland space, then you can get rugs for Ikea right now for as little as $2.39. This Virring round rug for instance is currently on sale for just $10.39, though it was originally being sold for $12.99.

Ikea will be offering this sale until Sunday, May 10th and they will limit each customer to 5 rugs each.

Lids Canada is hosting a buy more, save more event where you can save up to $20 off on your online order, should you spend the minimum amount of $80. The incentive in this offer is that you will be rewarded with a larger discount the more you spend, though personally, when I was shopping within the sale I was trying to stay as close as possible to the minimum requirements so that I could make the most of my discount.

One of the offers is a $5 off promo code, 5off24, on your purchase of $24 or more. If I was using this promo code, I would then try to keep my order as close as possible to the $24 minimum, buying something like this Toronto Raptors “We the North” youth snap back for just $24. If I was looking to buy something a bit more expensive, then I would try to use the $15 off promo code, 15off65, for orders over $65. For an order like this, you could stack two smaller items, like these Bio Domes Nintendo Bros Snapback Hats ($35), or buy one big ticket item, like this Toronto Blue Jays Nike Women’s MLB Track Jacket ($75).

If your order is large enough, then you can use the promo code, 20off80, to receive $20 off on your order of $80 or more. There are some restricted items, which you can read the full list of on the Lids.ca website.

Lids will be running this promotion until Sunday, May 10th.

Keurig Canada has just launched a new brewing system, and this one comes just in time for the summer season. The Keurig K200 Brewing System, a delightfully colourful and compact personal brewer, is being sold at a limited time launch price of just $99.99 (regularly $119.99). Plus, since your order is above $45, your new K200 will ship to your home for free.

The Keurig K200 Brewing System is designed for your transient lifestyle, as it is lightweight and compact enough to be easily carted from your summer vacation spot back to your home. The system is also capable of serving an individual, as well as a group of many sizes as it has 9 different brewing sizes – including a full carafe. There is also a 40 oz. water reservoir that will reduce the number of refills the system requires between uses.

In addition to being a rather convenient brewing system, the Keurig K200 also comes in a wide array of bright and playful colours that you can choose to match your equally bright personality.

This offer will be valid until June 8th, or until supplies runs out.

Ardene Canada has decided to provide an incentive for you to shop online and stay below their $50 free-shipping minimum this week, by instead offering $2 shipping on all orders that are $40 or more. The trick in this offer is to try to stay just at the $40 minimum, so that you can make the most of your order. The closer you are to $50, the more reasonable it would be for you to find an inexpensive filler item to bump you over the minimum to qualify for free-shipping, rather than $2 shipping.

Ardene is also having a number of buy one, get one half-off deals as well as 2/$20 and 2/$15, which you could stack to keep yourself just above the $40 minimum for free-shipping. For instance, select bathing suits, like this basic bikini bottom in mint green with black borders, are currently being offered at 2 for $20 (regularly $14.50 each). This means that you could get two full bathing suit sets, top and bottom, for just $40 and only have to pay $2 for shipping and handling!

Select shorts are also on sale right now for buy one, get one for 50% off. So instead of relying on the $20 bathing suits to meet your $40 minimum, you could also incorporate the shorts offer into your order. An example of this combination could look like this: 2 bathing suits sets for $15, and a pair of pink and paisley shorts (only $17.50) with a pair of black and cream paisley shorts (only $8.75 with shorts offer) for a total order of just $41.25.

Ardene Canada will be offering this $2 shipping promotion for a limited time.

The deals that are being offered during Kitchen Stuff Plus Canada’s weekly Red Hot Deals sale are substantially more expensive than their usual $5 and $10 deals, but the discounts on the products are certainly just as steep. Instead of featuring lower priced, smaller ticket kitchen products, Kitchen Stuff Plus has decided to discount bigger ticket items by up to 60% off. For instance, you can pick up a 12-pc. J.A. Henckels International Fine Edge Pro Knife Set Block Set during the sale for 50% off the regular price of $199.99, now only $99.99.

As I said, most of the products featured in this sale are discounted bigger ticket items, so the prices will be a bit higher than the usual offers featured at Kitchen Stuff Plus, but you will be getting a much nicer appliance in return at a price that can’t be matched. You will have to use this coupon if you are shopping in-store, or this promo code, KSP284, if you are shopping online and you will be limited to 2-pcs. per customer for each purchase.

The deals that you can expect to find this week include:

• save 60% off on Country Kitchen Cart with Butcher Block, now $99.99 (was $249.99)
• save 50% off on CuiZen Signature Series 10-Cup Rice Cooker and Steamer, now $24.99 (was $49.99)
• save 40% off on Oster My Blend Personal Blender, now $23.99 (was $39.99)

Released on Tuesday, May 5th by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, was the recall of all Costco Kirkland Signature Creamy Natural Peanut Butter that was sold in two-1kg packages. The only peanut butter that  by this recall are jars that have a best-before date from November 17th, 2015 to January 8th, 2015. The reason for this recall was that health inspectors suspect that there may be bits of plastic in the jars.

The UPC code for the affected jars is: 0 96619 89682 0. The announcement said that the jars were sold across Canada, so if you have bought one of these packages recently, no matter your location, be sure to check the expiration dates and UPC code.
