@ShopprsDrugMart
This weekends Shoppers Drug Mart promotion is a good one, considering the cost of gas lately. This Saturday and Sunday, when you spend $75 you will get a $20 gift card to Petro Canada. I love when you get something you can use for spending money that you were going to spend anyways!
Thanks to Saving Moola for posting the upcoming Shoppers Drug Mart flyer for us!
I think a lot of us already “like” the Dempsters page on Facebook because of the great giveaways and coupons they have had in the past. And now they’re doing it again! This time they will be giving away their bagels. This is great for me because bagels are pretty popular in my house.
This is the Dempsters status update from today:
Hi fans – have you heard the BIG news? We’re baking up DEMPSTER’S bagels fresh daily according to a NEW and IMPROVED recipe! To celebrate, we’ll be giving away thousands of FREE packages of bagels over the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for our first giveaway announcement later today!
Stay tuned to their page for the information on their first give away! Click here to go to the Dempsters page.
Thanks for posting this great opportunity for us manzervite!

When I was single, I had a love-hate relationship with Valentine’s Day. Love/hate because while I fantasized about all the VDay clichés, at times February the 14th also seemed to rub salt into the wounds of my singleness.
So when I became attached, my excitement was revived during my first Valentine’s Day with my now-bf. I got surprised with flowers and wined & dined for the evening. I do enjoy eating out, so it gives me something to look forward to!
Now that the novelty has worn off a bit, which I think is normal 🙂 , we’ll catch a sappy movie, if there’s anything playing, and go out for dinner, but NOT on Valentine’s Day itself.
There are waaay too many people out, plus restaurants love to throw in some special prix fixe menu which is more expensive than their usual offerings. My bf has cooled it on the bouquets ’cause I’ve told him that I think that they’re a waste of money since they die soo quickly!
So I’m curious if Valentine’s Day is something that you still celebrate OR is it just another day for you & your partner/family?

Can you believe the dresses above are made out of toilet paper? Look a hell of a lot better than the ones we came up with at my best friend’s wedding shower.
Tomorrow Value Village is holding a 30% off sale for its Super Savers Club Card members off a purchase $30+. Excludes new merchandise (red tags). My advice is if you’re not a member and want to take advantage of the sale sign up today. At their last secret sale I signed up the week before but forgot my card and they refused to let my mom get a card the day of. Personally I prefer Goodwill when comes to thrift stores around here. The stuff is nicer and priced better.
