about some future event and you make your prediction. About a week or
two later, when the event actually happens, if your prediction is
correct and you are the first to make it, you win cash. If you were
right but not first you win credits.

The idea is simple — the person who bids the most credits wins the
item they bid on. Their current auction started on April 5, 2009 and
has 3 items, a $50, $75 and $100 gift card (to a place of your
choice). As the site grows, they plan on having more items and having
items with higher values.
How do you get credits?
There are multiple ways to get credits on the site. First off, you
get credits for every time that you make a correct prediction. This
gives you the most and is the main feature of the site, hence the
name. If you’re not that psychic, you can try your hand at their
frequent trivia contests. Anyone who gets the trivia answers right
gets credits. If you get all of them right in a given contest you also
get a bonus. Last off, you can also invite people to the site and get

On March 31st, Ontario raised their minimum wage from $8.75 to $9.50. On April 1st, Ontario McDonald’s raised the price on all of their sandwiches by 20 cents. Other menu items increased in price as well.
Is this indicative of a larger problem in our economy? We raise the minimum wage so that those earning it can make ends meet with the current cost of living, but to make up the difference businesses raise their prices thereby raising the cost of living? It sounds insane. Maybe it is.
Then again, maybe this is an isolated incident. Maybe it’s just McDonald’s. Have any of you encountered an increase in the cost of goods or services over the past few weeks?
