Sears Canada has two hot deals on for those of you looking to update your current kitchen cookware sets and pans. If you’re needing to do a total re-haul on your kitchen pots and pans, then you may be interested in the sale on the T-Fal ‘Pleasure’ 9-Piece Cookware set. Normally a set like this would sell for $199.99, but right now you can save yourself $110 if you should purchase this set before the expiry date, on April 16th, as the set is now just $89.99.

If the full 9-piece cookware set is a bit more excessive then what you had in mind when you were contemplating updating, the deal on the Lagostina Classic Provence 2-pack non-stick skillet may be more up your alley. These 20cm and 26cm Lagostina skillets are ideal for healthy cooking, as the non-stick surface needs little oil to be added to your pan to prevent sticking, which also means they’ll be easier for clean ups. These skillets combined were previously being sold for $99.99, but right now you can purchase them both for just $29.99.

Sears Canada offers free-shipping on orders that are $99 or more, or you can choose to have your order shipped to the store for free.

The Hudson’s Bay Canada seems to have some of the best gift bags around, as they are always high-value gifts and they are also filled with products that you would actually use, unlike some giveaways. Currently, the Hudson’s Bay Canada is running a promotion within their Lancome makeup section where you can receive an 8-piece makeup gift bag when you spend $36 or more on Lancome makeup product.

What I particularly like about this free gift with purchase from the Hudson’s Bay, is that they allow you to customize your bag with your preferred makeup samples. For instance, you will be prompted after adding your qualifying merchandise of $36 to choose between, serums, blushes, lipsticks and skin care solutions. The total value of this bag is worth $188, and if you spend over $95 you will receive an extra gift valued to be worth $60.

If you spend over the $95, you will get to choose between three different possible gifts, all of which are valued to be worth $60. These choices include:

• Nutrix Royal Body Lotion
• OR a Tresor fragrance rollerball, Tresor Body Lotion and Juicy Tube
• OR a Genefique Repair and Radiance Cleanser & Toner

If you personally don’t shop within the Lancome brand, and prefer a brand like Clarins you can still stand to receive some hot freebies whilst shopping at the Hudson’s Bay. Clarins is also running a “choose your gift” promotion where if you buy two Clarins products, one of which must be a skin care product, you can receive a free 5-piece gift bag valued to be worth $185.

The Lancome promotion will only be available from April 9th until May 3rd, while the Clarins offer will be valid while quantities last.

This weekend at the Home Depot Canada they are beginning their version of Spring Black Friday, except instead of crazy discounts being held on winter themed products in November, they are selling discounted products from their springtime selection. In this sale, which will be going on until April 20th, you can expect to see outdoor and decor discounted by up to 50% off and big savings on tools, kitchen, gadgets and more.

Within the outdoor section, you will be able to pick up deals on dining sets, patio lights, lawn gadgets and even soil and fertilizer. One of the hotter offers within this section was the sale on the Hampton Bay 7-piece outdoor dining set, which is now only $299, meaning you will save yourself a total of $100 as it was previously being sold for $399.

For convenience sake, I’d suggest browsing through the Home Depot’s flyer this week as they have gone through the trouble of highlighting the best deals from each section of their spring Black Friday sale so that you don’t have to go digging. Within the flyer, I was able to find this super hot buy on the Rigid Portable Table Saw (1o-inch), which is now just $199 (was $399). There are unfortunately none of these table saws available online, but you can check to see if there are any in-stock at your local Home Depot Canada.

By stacking these offers, I was able to get a $72 order of makeup discounted down to being just $39. That’s a discount of 45% off the regular price, saving me a total of $33.

As you’ll remember recently how we posted about Turbo Tax Canada being on sale for 15% off for the 2014 online editions, we were quite excited to see that they have dropped their prices once again – which is great news for those of us who tend to leave things (*cough taxes) to the last minute!

For the next week and half, until April 21st, you can save 20% on the 2014 online editions of Turbo Tax. With the least expensive package, the Standard Online package (which will provide you with 1 return) you can pay as little as $14.39 to file your 2014 taxes. Normally, Turbo Tax would charge $17.99, which is still rather inexpensive when you compare it to an accountant fee, but right now you can get your taxes done for under $15.

The first keyboard they have being sold for just $22.99 is the Microsoft All-in-One Wireless Media Keyboard, which was regularly being sold for $59.99. This keyboard can not only be customized with specific media hot keys (which would allow for you to pull up music, pictures or whatever else you want with the click of a few buttons), but it also comes with an integrated multi-touch trackpad on the side. Amazon.ca has an excellent offer on right now for a Victorinox Swiss Army 53931 Fieldmaster Pocket Knife (Red), where you can save almost 50% off on this solid pocket knife as it is now only $33.08 (regularly $58).

While most of us associate Swiss Army knives as being tools largely reserved for those who are self proclaimed outdoor enthusiasts, you would be surprised at just how useful this multi-purpose tool kit would come in handy in your everyday, even office, life. The Swiss Army Fieldmaster includes some of the most commonly used tools, that most of us actually rarely have on hand. For instance, with this set you will receive:

•  a large blade and small blade
• scissors
• Phillips screwdriver
• bottle opener with large screwdriver and wire stripper
• can opener with small screwdriver
• reamer with sewing eye
• wood saw
• hook
• toothpick
• tweezers
• and keyring

Once you find yourself with this Victorinox Swiss Army Fieldmaster Pocket Knife, you will find that you won’t be able to leave the house without it.

Amazon.ca will also ship this item to your home for free since it is above the $25 minimum.

For the next two-days at Groupon Canada, you can save an extra 15% off on all local auto and home deals. Simply enter the promo code, CLEAN15, and you will receive your extra 15% off, so long as you enter it before the code expires on April 10th at 11:59pm PDT.

This offer can be used up to three different times, which is a really sweet deal since most of us probably have our eyes set on a couple of these spring cleaning Groupons. I personally thought the SiriusXM Onyx Plus Radio Package with Three-Month Subscription and Vehicle Kit deal, which is now just $42.50 ($208.77 value), was a pretty good deal for those of you who may be considering taking a long road trip this summer. Or, if you’re looking for something a little more practical, then you could get a Duct Cleaning and Disinfectant service from Delux Dux for just $143.65 (valued to be worth $398.95).

Groupon will limit the amount of money that you can have deducted from your total at $50.
