Chapters Indigo followed Amazon’s announcement this morning and lowered their free shipping when you spend $25!  I figured Chapter’s would follow suit but I didn’t think it would be this quickly.  Now all we have to do is sit back and wait for Best Buy and Future shop to follow!  Click here to check out Chapters and Amazon.  This is so exciting to me because I’m always trying to find a “few smaller things” to get up to $39.  Now if I just want a book and a movie I don’t have to worry as I’ll already have the free shipping!

This coming weekend, Oct. 16-17, 2010, Shoppers Drug Mart is giving away a free $10 McDonald’s gift card when you spend $50 or more (up to $74.99), and a $20 gift card when you spend $75 or more. Usual exclusions like prescriptions, lottery, transit tickets, etc. apply.

Hmmm….I don’t know what to make of this promo. They usually do Tim Hortons or Cara restaurants, I wonder why the switch to McDonald’s? What do you think?

Amazon.ca announced today that they are lowering the free shipping minimum to $25!  As most of you already know it was $39 that you had to spend before you could get free shipping.  This is great if you just want to buy a dvd or two and don’t want or need to spend $39 before you could get free shipping.  Will this motivate you to shop more at Amazon?

Aeropostale is offering jeans for $20.  You can buy in-store or online.  They fit similar to the jeans Thrifty and Bluenotes carry.  I personally don’t shop there as I find their main target is for teens and early 20’s, but with the Christmas season just around the corner this could make a young’un really happy.  They also have some cute graphic tees for under $10, and leftover summer and early fall clearances.

The endless parade of Threadless sales marches on this week, as they’re offering (almost) all of their t-shirts for $10!  Hoodies are getting their own sale price too, having dropped to $30.  Sale ends on the morning of 10/14.  Click here to check out what’s still available.
