The Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto is bringing back their concert promo with Pizza Pizza Canada, where you can get concert tickets to some of the best shows this summer starting for as little as $11.11! There will of course only be a select number of tickets available at this discounted rate, and you will have to use the promo code, HOTANDFRESH, when searching for your tickets to see if there are seats available for the discounted price.

A couple of the shows I checked out have already sold out of Pizza Pizza discounted tickets, such as Nicki Minaj’s Pinkprint Tour show and Lady Antelbellum’s show, but I was able to find a discounted ticket for the Rascal Faltts show on August 27th. Regularly, a single ticket in the Klipsch Lawns would cost $29.75, but I was able to buy one for just $15.36 with the Pizza Pizza promo code.
There will be additional fees on top of your advertised ticket price, but overall you will be paying significantly less than what the regular admission fees are.

Apple Canada and Health Canada have issued a recall on the Beats Pill XL Speakers due to a possible fire hazard. The recalled products are plastic, capsule-shaped audio speakers with model number B0514. The speakers measure about 10cm tall by 33cm wide by 10cm deep and are black, white, pink, metallic sky or titanium in colour. The affected speakers have a ‘b’ Beats logo on the speaker grille side and the words ‘beats pill XL’ on the handle. There is a risk that the battery in this device can overheat, posing a fire risk to consumers. So far, Apple Canada has received reports of 2 incidents in Canada and 6 in the US. One consumer has reported injury due to the overheating. There have been approximately 11,000 affected units sold in Canada.
If you purchased this item between January 2014 and June 2015, please stop using it immediately and contact Apple for a refund!

Keihl’s Canada is offering you two new promo codes to help celebrate the new summer season, both of which will save you money but, unfortunately, cannot be stacked together. The first offer they are bringing us for the summer season is a complimentary shipping offer where you can get free ground shipping on orders of $35 or more, with the promo code, SHIPNOW, or free express shipping on orders of $75 or more, with the promo code, SHIPFAST.
While these free-shipping offers are great and all, there is another promo code that may be of interest to you, particularly if you are spending above $60 – which is the threshold you must meet under regular circumstances to receive free-shipping. The other promo code that Kiehl’s is offering is a summer discount where you can take $10 off on your purchase of $50 or more. This means that if you only had a small order, like the one that I had above where my total was $52, then it would make the most sense for you to use the $10 off code rather than the free-shipping code, since shipping would only discount your order by $7.95 whereas the other code would provide you with $10 off.
If you do wish to qualify for the complimentary free-shipping without the promo code, and use the $10 off promo code, then you will have to spend at least $70, as to qualify for the complimentary free-shipping your order must be $60 or more after all discounts have been taken into account. For instance, I spent $75.50 on shampoo, lip balm, face sunscreen and a cleanser and was able to have it reduced to $65.50 and still qualify for the complimentary free-shipping.
Kiehl’s Canada will only be offering the free-shipping promo codes until June 7th, while the $10 off promo code will be available until June 30th.

Mark this one down in your calendars folks, as on Saturday, July 4th, Old Navy Canada will be hosting their annual flip-flop sale where you can pick up their ever so popular solid flip-flops for just $1. These flip-flops, which come in a rainbow of bright and summery colours, are going to be sold for the same price as your morning coffee from McDonald’s, or your lunchtime soda. Even packs of gum are sold for more than what you’ll pay for these flip-flops!

Hush Puppies Canada has been known to offer some shockingly low discounts on their already reduced merchandise, but this current sale they are offering on their outlet shoes is one that even I was taken aback at when I first saw it. Right now, until June 15th, you can use the promo code, 060215, to take an extra 50% off on already reduced styles in the Hush Puppies outlet section.
Seeing as some of the shoes in this section of Hush Puppies have already been marked down by up to 60% off the original price, that means that you could be saving up to 80% off with your extra 50% off promo code.
While most of the shoes I found weren’t discounted at this hot rate, I was able to find a few pairs that were being sold for a reasonable price, made only more reasonable with the extra 50% off promo code. The Google Store Canada is having a rather hot sale on the new Nexus 6, in both the 32GB and 64GB model, as you can save $150 off on the retail price of both of these phones. Usually the Nexus 6 32GB would sell for $749, but now it is just $599, while the 64GB would sell for $799, and is now just $649.
The Nexus 6 is a great phone that includes the newest Android operating system, called Android 5.0 Lollipop. While the name may signal to a fun and carefree sentiment of childhood nostalgia, the 64-bit operating system is not to be made light of. The system’s haptic feedback is more intuitive than before and can have content on your phone respond to your touch in an accurate and purposeful way.
One of the more remarkable features of the new Nexus 6 is the 13-megapixel camera, which can really take some beautiful pictures. You can read the full reviews of the phone’s camera here, but I can assure you that this camera is one of the best quality ones you will find in a smart phone today.
The only real drawback about this phone, and about all new smart phones really that are coming out, is that it verges on being almost too big. Not quite a Galaxy Note, this Google Nexux 6 smart phone measures 6-inches across in the display screen alone, so if you had any hopes of squeezing this into your back pocket, I’d advise against trying as you may not be able to retrieve it from the depths of your lint sodden pocket.
That being said, the phone has a battery that can, supposedly, last all day and will charge up for 6 hours of use in just 15 minutes when you use the Turbo Charger.

Walmart Canada has just released their flyer for the week and nestled between some of their more skippable deals, are some rather hot deals, such as the sale on the PS4 The Last of Us Bundle With Destiny. This bundle, which usually retails for $449 without the Destiny game included (the game alone will normally self for just under $50) is currently on sale for just $449 plus you will receive a $25 Walmart gift card with your purchase. This deal, like all of the other ones advertised in this week’s flyer, will be live from June 4th until June 17th.
Another hot deal from Walmart’s flyer this week, especially for those of you stumped on what to get dad this year for Father’s Day, was this Backyard Grill Fresno 5 Burner LP Gas Grill. This 5 burner bbq is currently being sold for just $268, which is a rather decent price for a bbq of this size and power. The BBQ has 72,000 BTUs and also comes with 500 square inches of cooking space and a 215 square inch warming rack. This would be a great bbq to have for big summer cook outs, or just to have around for a Sunday BBQ with the family.

Puma Canada will be hosting a friends and family event this week, and it will be continuing over the weekend until Monday, June 8th where you will be able to save 40% off on all regular priced merchandise, plus an extra 30% off on all sale merchandise. To receive these discounts, however, you will have to make sure that you enter the promo code, FFSHAREIT, at checkout – otherwise you will just end up paying the advertised price.
I was able to mix n’ match a couple of things from both the sale section and the new arrivals section, and still my total order came in under $90. I found these funky looking basket classic shoes, inspired by the original 1960s basketball sneakers that Puma first came to be known for, being sold for $91 USD. After I used my friends and family promo code, they were brought down to being just $54.60 USD. To match these shoes for a completed athleisure look, I headed over to the sale section where I found these great Tulipe pants on sale for just $45.50 (was $65 USD). In total, my order came to being just $86.45, as the Tulipe pants were brought down to being just $31.85 after the extra 30% off was applied.

Whichever retailer you choose, is solely up to you, but be sure that if you plan on getting a personalized 11 oz. ceramic mug for dad this year that you pick it up from either Walmart Canada or Blacks Photography Canada. The reason I say that you should only shop here for your personalized mugs is because both retailers are selling these mugs for under $10, while other stores are selling the very same product (or similar to) for upwards of $17, plus shipping and handling!
While Blacks’ personalized ceramic 11 oz. mugs are normally sold for $19.99, when you use the promo code, MUG4DAD, you can save 50% off on your mug, making it cost just $9.99. And while there isn’t a promo code required for Walmart’s personalized mug, as it is just normally sold for $9.97, you will only be able to get a white single photo mug at this price. Domino’s Pizza Canada has a new promo code available that will feed you and a friend quite comfortably for under $10. The promo code that they are providing you with, 4049, will get you a large 2-toppping pizza plus a 2L Coca-Cola product for just $9.99.
To give you a better idea of just how much money you’ll be saving with this coupon, I added a regular large two-topping pizza to my order without the coupon to compare prices. As you can see, a two-topping large pizza regularly will cost you $14.99, which is close to double the price of the large pizza in the promo code offer (as it is only $7.89).

The first Friday of every June marks a very special occasion for pastry lovers around the world, as it is National Doughnut Day. National Doughnut Day is celebrated in many ways at various pastry shops around the world, with some offering creative, new doughnuts, while others (like Krispy Kreme Canada and Dunkin Donuts Canada) will be giving away free doughnuts.
At Dunkin Donuts, you will have to purchase a beverage to receive your free doughnut this Friday, June 5th, while at Krispy Kreme you simply have to show up and request your free doughnut. I can honestly say, with almost 100% confidence, that if you haven’t at the very least seen the first Ice Age film, then you should go out now and buy it (or borrow it from a friend) and you will be floored by how funny, heartwarming and overall well written this animated feature is. Supposedly, the film is intended to be directed towards children, but I find the humour to be relatable to most adults as well. In the first instalment of the Ice Age movies, the story is set against the backdrop of the end of the Ice Age with three unlikely friends (a wooly mammoth, a sabertooth tiger and a sloth) trying to survive through the relentless weather patterns and geological changes to their surroundings. While this may seem like a rather grim plot for a children’s movie, the characters’ witty back and forth repartee more than make up for the slightly dark subplot (that is, that the animals are fighting against extinction).

They execute these films in the same comedic style that they achieved in the first film, taking a rather dark content matter and subverting it into an entertaining and kid-friendly film.
