Welcome back to the SmartCanucks Scavenger Hunt — our weekly challenge to our readers to find the lowest price on a specific item! In our first week we were looking for the lowest price on a floor lamp. For week 2, we’re going to look for something a little more specific. This week we’re going to look for the lowest price on something almost all of us could use — a 2GB SD Card. As always, we’re going to stick with retailers, so no eBay or freecycle-type deals. It can be any brand, so long as it’s a 2GB SD Card.

I just bought a couple calendars at Mcdonalds in London, Ontario–they cost $3.01 with the taxes and have $25.00 + in coupons inside. The coupons are good for the Southwestern Ontario locations (listed on the front of the calendar). Nothing says you can’t use two coupons at once, so you can buy multiples. The proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House, so it’s a great deal and a great charity! I imagine other parts of Canada have these too?
