This event will only be sent via e-mail to Optimum members who did not redeem during the last event (July 19th & 20th), and have a minimum of 30,000 points. The e-mail will be sent on September 10th…there will be no additional advertising of this event.

For years I’ve always joked that I wanted to hold my wedding reception at McDonald’s.  Buffet-style McNuggets and big red container full of orange drink for all!  Turns out this couple on Scottsdale Arizona must have been reading my mind.  Here’s a description from the flickr page;

McDonald’s in Scottsdale hosts vintage car shows every Sat night and this couple regularly displayed their cars. So they got hitched. Where? At McDonald’s of course. They contacted me to videotape it. Word got out and TV reporters and a crowd came out too. This is a frame from the video of 12/11/99.

My wife and I still haven’t had a wedding — maybe I can talk her into this.  😉

I’ve been in the market for a new cordless phone for a while now, but I’ve been hesitant about picking one up as the cheapest you can find are usually $30 or so, poor quality, and look like crap.  That’s why I was tickled pink when I came across this deal.

Not only is it sharp looking, but the few customer reviews I could find online all rave about what a great deal this is for the quality.  After shipping it did come to around that $30 price tag, but it’s $30 for a quality product instead of $30 for a crapshoot.
